ang2x kay ang pagkaaktibista dili lang mahimo sa pagrally. pwede man nga through art - film, literature, paintings, etc. depende na sa choice sa kabataan kung unsa'y way nga tan-aw niya angayan siya.

sa panahon man gud karon, daghan na ang pamaagi/means aron makaexpress sa mga radical sentiments.

siguro sad, gipul-an na ang ubang kabataan kay tan-aw nila nisamot man hinuon ang kangil-ad sa sitwasyon sa pilipinas...

at this day and age, there are so many things you can do to make your cause heard. in a good way. for me rallying and shouting on the streets or causing a ruckus is such a waste of time.

I think daghan middle-class students samokan ug rally. Why? because mainstream education supports the status quo, and rallies are little disturbances in the status quo. what is mainstream education? education for profitability and taking courses for credits sake.

the great student protests in 1968-70s, Mai '69 in france, First quarter storm in manila, Free speech movement in Berkeley are merely expressions of the time-frame. Marxist inspired marcusian's thought dominated the scene.

karon? ngano even in big universities, well, except in UP, sorry guys, but everybody there is against something wala na kaayoy student rally? besides mainstream education? its because IDEOLOGY IS DEAD. it was born pre-revolutionary france, and it is dying now.

many of the marxists here just dont get it, Marx is dead. Ideology is dead. even if he wasnt, they still misconstrue him so much. even Mao did.and most of the left here are maoist inspired. well there are stalinist, but they are very very few. arent they? most of them are in diliman though correct me if i am wrong.
