Keeping the thread alive! Ukulele fans, some update from your friends from Lapulapu City!
Our mighty Ukes can bring us to other places, meeting people and sharing the love of playing our ukuleles.

Back in October, the Cebu Ukulele Underground had a chance to join the the 1st Philippines Ukulele Festival at the SM Mall of Asia.
The guests were (para sa akoa lang ni ha ) famous ukulele heroes such as Aldrine Guerrero, Derick Sebastian, Kalei Gamiao, Apirak and Kyas Ryo. Our local ukulele awesome players were there too, such as Pao Gumba, RJ Arroyo,etc.

The kids from Lapulapu City played their best performances.

Next update: Lapulapu kids played at the 1st and 2nd Sungha Jung concert!

More updates later, anyways I am planning for a monthly "Ukulele Jam at the Dome" - Hoopsdome location
I know naa daghan diri ukulele players (newbie, experienced), the activity/community will serve to spread the ukulele playing, share/teach sessions (fingerstyle, strumming, etc - especially kadtong experienced players, mo share sa ilang talents to those who will want to learn) and also support noteworthy causes. Para sa mga interesado lang, we'll be posting updates soon!
