    @nolex....if you do not like kanji ...or still not proficient with it...you should learn when to use hiragana or katakana....

    Katakana is used for words of foreign origin. For example atong mga names kay di man hinapon so we have to use Katakana. Brand of cars like Ford, Audi , Mercedes Benz etc....or any other foreign words used should be written in Katakana.

    Hiragana can be used in place or in combination with Kanji.

    its also important to actually know the kanji, because there are some words wherein the hiragana is the same but the meaning is different because the kanji is different.

    example: kinou

    昨日 - きのう
    機能 - きのう

    the first one means yesterday, the second one means functionality.

    i can use kanji oi..... but gamay ra jud ako namemorize ana as in.. and i know too that katakana is for foreign language......hehehe... i've memorized all character of ひたがな & カタカナ.....and a little bit of

    感じ - kanji - means feeling or impression

    漢字 - kanji - means chinese characters

    hello all...ready na for the next lesson? today we will learn how to use -te okimasu.

    Verb (te form) + okimasu

    This sentence pattern means :

    1- Completion of a necessary action by a given time.
    e.g.
    I'll buy a ticket before the trip.
    Ryokou no mae ni kippu o katte okimasu.
    (ryokou-trip; mae-before; kippu-ticket; katte (te form of the verb kau which means to buy)

    2- Completion of a necessary action in readiness for the next time.
    e.g.
    When you finish using the scissors, put them back where they were.
    Hasami o tsukattara, moto no tokoro ni modoshite oite kudasai.
    (hasami-scissors; tsukattara from the verb tsukau which menas to use; tokoro - place, modoshite - return; oite - te form of the verb oku meaning to place)

    3- Keeping the resultant state as it is.
    Please leave the chairs as they are because a meeting will be held here tomorrow.
    Ashita kaigi ga arimasu kara, isu wa konomama ni shite oite kudasai.
    (ashita-tomorrow; kaigi-meeting; isu-chair; konomama - as it is ; shite te form of verb suru meaning to do)

    1- Repouto o kaku mae ni shiriyou o atsumete okimasu.
    2- Shiken made ni kono hon o yonde okimasu.

    naglisod jud ko..kay as i sed before gamay rako vocabulary...

    1 - Before writing the report,I will collect the ideas.
    2 - I will read this book until the examination
    3 - Tabettarra,sara o araite oite kudasai

    i wanted to try number 4 but most of its verbs are hard to find in online dictionaries..

    kono shiryou wo katatsuketemo ii desuka?
    iie..soko de sore wo nokoshite oite kudasai. mada tsukatte imasu kara.

    kono - this
    shiryou - material/ data
    katatsukemasu - to tidy (things) up
    ii - ok/ good
    iie - no
    soko - there (the place youre refering to is near the person youre talking with)
    sore - that (the thing youre refering to is near the person youre talking with)
    nokoshimasu - to leave behind (things/ person/ etc.)
    mada - still
    tsukaimasu - to use


    ang no. 3 i think pwede sad ing ani..
    tabe owatta ato ni osara wo aratte oite kudasai.

    tabe - root for tabemasu which means to eat
    owatta - past tense for owarimasu which means to end
    ato - after
    osara - sara meaning plate with o prefix (polite)
    aratte - te form of araimasu which means to wash

    @abuot-san....pa ubsan nato gamay ang lessons bro...unsa man mag vocabulary sa ta? approximately asa na man ka dapit sa grammar? maka conjugate na ka ug verbs ? request lang...kay puede ra man nato i-adjust specifically for you ang "lessons"...kay wa na man mamalik atong uban "students"...nya sila zengatsu...samokan...and others lingaw ra man pod sila converse2 ginagmay in japanese and share pod sa ila na baw-an...ikaw lang mag punto bro asa ta mo concentrate ok?

    minna-san...yuki matsuri shite imasu ka? (yuki - snow; matsuri - festival; shite imasu - progressive form of the verb suru which means to know)
