ayaw scotch brite kay magaras imo glass...i use sim card or call card to scrape the mineral deposits...dugay lang kaau matang2![]()
@MasterBokNoy, Kung empty ang tank, spray with vinegar and leave for 10 minutes then use a soft sponge to scrub or the sim/credit card scraper.
install a water softener. :P hehehe.. hard jud tubig diri cebu.Originally Posted by virus1218

@Zakidog. Ka grabe sad nimo oy. gi gamit man dayon nimo ang aquarium after muriatic acid treatment.
@Virus. Unless ur using RO water or water softener, there is little you can do to eliminate watermarks ( high gH ). One way to minimize is to keep the water level constant so that when the water evaporates, you get the deposit in only one area. Those plastic strips glued to the sides of typical aquariums do a great job of hiding the watermarks. But thats common sense.
With regards to talisay leaves, its the tannins(brown coloring) and other organic acids in the leaves that soften water and possibly reduce pH. Driftwood or peat will have the same effect. pero mahal ang peat and driftwood expires in its leeching after some time. The softening action of the tanins can significantly reduce watermarks but not eliminate it. Lets just say that generally anything plant based and decaying you put into your tank will soften your water (reduce your gH and possibly bring down pH with it) but lets not go into cation exchange and carbonate hardness. hehe.
@DubCity, ang coral didto na namatay sa imo tank? Diba kinahanglan ka ug fancy lights para mabuhi ang coral?
Ah! I remember, Fiji Devil diay tong all blue na isda.
oo adto na namatay sogg atay lagi kaayo..shet..2 kabuok ang usa diay SPONGE na coral wa ga treatment ko sa akong tubig karon..murag langit puti kaayo sa tanan..sakto jud sa internet hardy kaayo mga damsels ug false perculas..so far akong habilin kay 3 false perculas,2 devil damsels,1 6-line wrasse,2 4 striped damsels,1 dragon fish ug yellow damsel...ug akong anemone nga pwerteng mahala pagka palit wehehehehe

mu sulay ko marine unya inig retire nako. :P sakto man sab sulti ni Alvin, you have to invest time in a marine tank. Just don't like the way he talks.
