    if you leave religion behind, there is a better chance that you will find salvation... but for now, while you are more attached to your physical lives, stay to what you believe about God, you will find a relief as long as you don't mind other people's belief

    @noy

    so is Gandhi in Hell right now?

    example break ha,
    what if muslim ka sukad pagkabata, you were born into a peace loving muslim home
    prays faithfuly to Allah, and almost perfected the Love others as you love yourself Christian commandment..
    and you lived in a place where Christian evangelization has never gained access.
    so you would only know Jesus as the beloved prophet of Allah, the Messiah but not God.

    would an all loving, all merciful and Just God condemn you to Hell?
    If he's innocent of the gospel, ang ginoo ray mahibaw niya. If he’s not, the bible clearly states...
    1 John 5:12
    He that has the Son has life; and he that has not the Son of God has not life.

    Who’s God as the owner of Life? The God of the bible….

    A person like Gandhi who let’s say is NOT ignorant of the gospel yet chooses to reject it and follow his own self-righteousness unya ma-imperno lang in the end is very impossible based on our human reasoning. But what does the bible says?

    Proverbs 14:12
    There is a way which seems right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

    Lets give credit to those who rely on good works….Kung mao na atong basihan, gamay ra jud ang malangit nato, Jesus said…..
    Matthew 5:20
    For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

    But God made it simple for us….all we need to do is accept and believe in our hearts.
    John 3:16
    For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

    Sa imoha pa, we don’t know the mind of God. Problema lang, his eternal plan of salvation was clearly defined in the bible. Tanan taw bro nag-ila ug ginoo, pero magdaug lang diha kung kinsa/unsa nga ginoo ang giila. Dili sad ko motuo nga daghay creator with different attributes and some says there are million ways to God.

    We are already a fallen creature, there is nothing desirable in us that pleases God…..we are lost since from the beginning….none of us seeks his face.
    Romans 3:10
    As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
    Romans 3:23
    For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

    by the way, Islamic faith teaches about Heaven and Hell, its doctrine even has significant similarities of the Jewish text and Old testament
    OT: Ambot lang bro if we have the same concept of heaven with Islamic teachings….pasayloa ko kung nasayop ko ug quote or sabot ani.

    Do you believe lust/sexual desire exists in heaven in eternity?

    The 72 Virgins notion has its origins in the Qur’an. Although the holy book does not specify the number as 72, it does say that those who fight in the way of Allah and are killed will be given a great reward. It goes on to stipulate that Muslims will be awarded with women in Islamic heaven. It even describes their physical attributes—large eyes (Q 56:22) and big, firm, round “swelling breasts” that are not inclined to sagging (Q 78:33). The Qur’an refers to these virgins as houri, companions of equal age, but the highly-flavored emphasis of their bodily characteristics, including their virginity, gave rise to many hadiths and other Islamic writings.

    Qur’anic commentator Al-Suyuti (died 1505) and Orthodox Muslim theologians such as al Ghazali (died 1111 CE) and Al-Ash’ari (died 935 CE) graphically elaborated sensual pleasures attributed to Muslims in paradise”.

    Al-Suyuti wrote, “Each time we sleep with a Houri we find her virgin. Besides, the ***** of the Elected never softens. The erection is eternal; the sensation that you feel each time you make love is utterly delicious and out of this world and were you to experience it in this world you would faint. Each chosen one [i.e. Muslim] will marry seventy houris, besides the women he married on earth, and all will have appetizing vaginas.”
