hay... i just wish they could fix the drainage problem at AS Fortuna... i'm so sick and tired of having to worry bout heavy rain and having no other choice but to wait til the flood is out. what's worse, when everything's dry, the road is just horrible... not a single person from mandaue/cebu i know that has not passed by this road.

Mayor Jonas Cortes report on his first 100 days in office is quite impressive.though naa ning mga majority opposition councilors naa gihapon siyag nabuhat in his first 100 days as mayor. If mo cooperate lang unta ni tanan mga councilors under his administration nindot unta ang mandaue ug dali ra mabuhat ang mga good plans and good projects ni Jonas for mandaue city.Jonas reflects his father because as a pure mandauehanon i can say Jonas father while still a mayor long time before is a very good mayor. His heart belongs to the poor.Dili pud to garboso si Boy Cortes sa una.Makit-an pud to siya everytime naay calamities mahitabo sa mandaue like fires, road accidents and typhoons.mosuroy gyud to si mayor boy cortes without a bunch of bodyguards sa una sa ka baranggayan to check the conditions of the people in mandaue.I hope sundon ni Jonas ang gibuhat sa iyang papa sa una.

Default what happen to mandaue city council now?

What is wrong with the Mandaue City Council?

As a resident of Mandaue City, I am happy about the changes taking place within the city center....the "VERY EXPENSIVE" public market built by the previous administration is now taking shape. Thanks to the efforts of the current administration, our market vendors will finally have a clean public market, and NOT on the streets beside St. Joseph Academy. And speaking of streets, it is also very obvious that the church goers of the Catholic-dominated City of Mandaue are happy with the removal of the plaza. We now have an "easier access to the house of God". And traffic circulation within the “central” area is now evidently fluid. The statues of the heroes of Mandaue will soon be placed at their original positions, where they so rightly deserve the recognition and honor. Such historical personalities include A.S. Fortuna…we all know who he is, and we all know what he has done for Mandaue , and we all know he deserves a place where he can be honored and remembered? So why is Mayor Cortes being endorsed for suspension by the very descendant of the Great AS Fortuna, who unfortunately bears the same family name? Would the Fortunas rather be happy to see “TZO” blue concrete benches in place instead of their great grandfather’s statue? And what has TZO done in comparison to AS Fortuna?

So what the hell is wrong with the Mandaue City Council?

Here is a Mayor who is only trying to make Mandaue a better place to live….a city that was once rich in history, heroism, pride, and honor….not a city full of TED offices. The current administration is new and fresh, but is evidently trying to make a difference…..and the difference made is well appreciated by the people of Mandaue. Well, maybe not all, because a few shallow minds still insist on gaining attention, despite the fact that they are getting a dose of negative attention. I am a tax payer of Mandaue City, and I did NOT pay my taxes to pay the salaries for people who spend 8 hours a day trying to file cases, complaints and resolutions against moves that are obviously good for the city of Mandaue. I did NOT pay my taxes to be spent on TZO concrete benches instead of statues honoring the great heroes of Mandaue. I did NOT pay my taxes so that our poor market vendors would lay their goods on street sides, instead of a nice and clean public market. I did NOT pay my taxes to be demoralized by stupid “professionals” who have nothing to show but ignorance, negative pride, and the obvious absence of the human heart.
