Thanks for d pics of the boardwalk! It would be more reasurring if you showed some with more than one worker moving around, though...
I'm still worried about the CICC, though. The Toastmasters are trying to get their national convention held there but it's a very confusing and convoluted process kuno. Wala pa'y klaro. Not like the hotels na you can talk with just one person, okay na everything including meals, etc. They should appoint a GRO, este, public liaison/coordinating officer diay.
^^
Yup, ana jud na kay mao pa man gud pagsugod ana.. I hope that once everything will be put into place (CICC management team, etc..) maklaro na jud tanan..
Timing kaayo, kay katu nibisita me didto, nag tan-aw2x lang gud, naa si Architect Guanzon ga paso2x dapit sa gate.. Amo lang pod gi duol unya gi storya-storyahan2x.. Nice man diay sila kaayo ug vision sa CICC.. Maayo kaayo pagka explain niya to the many things that we can do so that it will not be a white elephant.. Basta CICC will be a catalyst for development at the Mandaue Recla.. One thing for sure too, with the presence of the CICC, we can expect that not all important conventions will always be held in Manila's PICC simply because convention organizers now have a choice between Manila and Cebu, whereas before the choice was just Manila... Of course, naa jud uban nga gusto magpalahi especially if napul-an na sila nga sa Manila pirmi ilang mga conventions..
If not for the CICC, I'm afraid the reclamation area will continue to become a den of ugly warehouses, junk shops, and the like... but the CICC and other exciting developments nearby changed that...
Somebody help! Who's really in charge? The convention center is losing clients already! Here's a reply to my post in my blog:
Our TM district convention might not likely happen there. We've been planning it for months and no positive reply from its management (if there were any from the start). A recent PSME national convention settled for Parklane Hotel. I'm afraid we may follow suit.![]()
^^
