Guys, my torrent downloads are suddenly super slow. 10-20kB/s, when usually I get 300-400+. Like this for the past week. Other downloads or even test speeds are normal.

Anyone experiencing same thing?

me too!! I've been visiting this forum for the past 3 days, ikaw pa jud ang naka post regarding ani.

Have you tried downloading inig 12AM onwards? Mu balik sa normal basta kadlawn.

Ok ra ang youtube ug direct downloading, pero ang torrent hinay kaayo.

Last night it didnt, but one time it did, given I dont torrent a lot. Still frustrating. We cant even complain cuz based on speedtest, all is fine. lol.

I hope this is temporary. From where ka? Mandaue area ko.

Sound like you're being throttled which is kind of normal nowadays for peer-peer file-sharing stuff. Most ISPs will do this if they detect what you're doing.

Why are they against it? Cuz of piracy? I dont even download movies, just series that are shown in US thats not here.

PLDT is throttling P2P speeds. Legit downloads however, are cool. Netflix is super fast, even in HD. Steam and PSN work quite well, and the downloads are awesome. Apart from the intermittent connection last month, everything is peachy. For now.
