this is really quite ironic.. everybody's discussing as kobe as the best player of the Decade.. I think it is still debatable..

Kobe has 5 rings.. but he only won 2 as the leader of this Lakers Org. and won 2 finals MVP and 1 MVP reg. season

What about Shaq 4 rings.. he won 3 with LA as the Leader and winning 3 straight finals MVP.. 1 MVP reg. season

and Tim Duncan 4 rings.. he won 3 championships as the leader, 3 finals MVP and 2 MVP honors..

but If I have to choose.. as the player of the Decade?

it's Shaq....... pure dominance....... grabe tong gipang pilde sa panahon ni Shaq sauna oy.. Blazers, Kings, Spurs .. mga powerhouse kaayo na team..

they can only be compared inig retire nila duha. ma compare na ila accomplishments..

stat wise Lebron is Better, advantage si Kobe sa Championships where it all matters..

if lebron can win at least 4 championships as the leader then its easy to say he is better than kobe.. but as of now Kobe is ahead..

kobes prime years was wasted... he had a scrub teammates for 4 years.

of course expected gyud na walay Regular season mvp's but he carried his team to the playoffs. that's what matters

shaq in his prime years had kobe, kobe was only the 2nd option sa team but still avg. 29ppg, 6apg and 5 rebs. of course si shaq gyd makadaog, expected na, he was the media's darling back then (we all know how powerful the media can be) though im not saying shaq didn't deserved it. kobe was hated even by his own teammates.

and comparing shaq to kobe is like comparing a watermelon to an apple.

as for comparing him to timmy, timmy always had a good supporting cast. every season contender gyd ni sila

and lastly, kobe and lebron.. advantage ra ni kobe championship? siguro statistic wise lebron is ahead pero a better basketball player? naaaah. kobe's ahead by a wide margin, and im pretty confident about this

and to all lebron fans: sorry, debate lang ta ninyo balik if makadaog na cya at least 2 rings.. hehehe!

Im just trying to be fair .. yep of course Kobe is better .. tungod sa iya killer instinct.. but as an overall performer(rebounds, assists, blocks, steal and even points per game) Lebron is better statistically..

dont get me wrong.. I voted for kobe but you also have to give credit to lebron...

and regarding Shaq and Kobe..

as a preference I pick Shaq in his prime anytime anyday over Prime Kobe


and Timmy . how bout Ginobili and Parker ? ika pila sila na draft? compare kay Bynum , Odom and Gasol

did i say shaq was overhyped? i don't remember saying a thing. as a matter of a fact, i love shaq. i was once a fan of him

well if you ask me, im a laker and a kobe fan, rondo fan. etc but my point is im a real laker fan and i could be a fan of any player in any team i don't deprive myself from idolizing we are all basketball fans after all.

i started watching basketball because of them i remember the 1998 roster nick van exel, eddie jones, shaq and the young kobe and every game nila excited kaayo ko mutanaw, the showtime of that era. and since then i became a basketball and a lakers fan.

if mu abot ang time, mu retire si kobe or mubalhin ug team. lakers gihapon ko but i will still support kobe or even rondo kung asa man sila. so its been almost 14 years of being a laker fan? isn't that "real" enough for you bai?

and their head coach back then was del harris..
