All I can say is that the HD600 + OTL amp = multiple eargasms...

exactly. unfortunately that is my problem with OTL amps, they only work well with high impedance cans, not the low ones nor the planars. but if you have one like the Senns 600 or the 650 or the 300-600 ohm Beyers, its a match in heaven

The good thing about OTLs as my experienced is that they are super quiet, wala naman gud Transformer w/c sometimes could induce hums.

My Antique Sound Lab TWIN HEAD MK II has a toggle switch to turn ON/OFF the Transformers w/c I feel is more super quiet than the transformers are ON, the only difference I notice when using the Transformers that it has more beef in the Low End. Good thing about Tubes guys is that we could roll it to suit our our taste.

although one thing about transformer amps is that some have a bit of noise/distortion which results to that signature sound they call "liquid" or "tubey". some like it that way compared to OTL which has a really quiet/black background but has better clarity and also sometimes could resemble Solid state. But still it depends on your preference and the type of headphones you pair them up with.

im hoping they didnt run out of stock yet. i never expected to get a Burson. i know its so good but a price of $1200-1400 is too much. 52% off made me forget about the Woo WA6, id kick myself if i let this pass lol
