I saw the premier showing X-men last wednesday, but beyond my expectations. The person who wrote the story bout this movie did'nt have much knowledge about the true stories of the X-men history. Why? Because the writer just murdered the whole story and that really pissed me off! Prof. X, Jean Grey, was'nt supposed to die that way! Most accordingly Cyclops was'nt supposed to die as well, for in my research. At The Rise of the Apocalypse saga, all the X-men died and only Cyclops was the last man standing to became 1 of Apocalypse's horsemen, and that's a fact! But I also give them the credits for an excellent visual effects!

Nonono.... I think the creenplay writer and the producers of the movie gave the title THE LAST STAND... It's a way they want to kill alot of charasters so as to sort of end the X-men movie like finally. Anyway, the comic series is a bunch of a lot of stories, so it would be difficult to pick on storyline. So they created a plot just for the film. And it worked a bit.. though dissappointing to most fans... diehard and not so diehard fans...

Yes the Visuals is very very good. I think they did a very good job.

havnt seen the movie yet...arghh.... shouldve put a spoiler warning.. that's ok though.. :P im not a die hard fan.

the movie version have a diff continuity than the comics. just as the comics version have diff continuity main universe, ultimate universe, age of apocalypse.

@dAmNseL jEnY: I don't have the stats but I'm sure if you ask this question to any comic book fan, "Who do you think of when I say X-Men?", they'll answer "Wolverine." Â*What can I say, he's an icon. Â*Probably followed by Cyclops, then Professor X.

By the way, I'm confused. When I was young (20 years ago), Nightcrawler was a born-again Christian. Now, some say he's just a devout Catholic? Which is which now?

Why is wolverine always on centerstage? Hate that guy! Melee attacks+ experience. MUrag si captain america with claws! Maypa cyclops! They should've been more familiar with the Summers bloodline and the omega potential that it has.

I hated the movie. Its like watching Mutant X sa cable TV! The mutants flew like they had wires strapped at the back (exept kang angel). Of course the effects from jean/phoenix was OK. But come on, shadowcat, iceman,wolverine, colossus,storm and beast against juggernaut, magneto, pyro, calypso, phoenix? you have to admit it really a weak line up! may unta naa si cable or somebody who has a level 3 or omega level. You know, maski pa pildi-pildi una before mu power up (murag si FPJ bah)!Mga hidden powers or skills ba.Not plans and the "teammate" concept.

all i can say is that wolverine, dali ra kaayo himuon ang props ni wolverine.. mao nang siya permi naa.. d man mag kailangan ug special effects gud!! hehe
