Basketball is more exciting to watch than soccer. In baketball, even a fraction of a second can change the result of the game. In soccer, if a team leads by 2 or more points with 5 minutes left, we can sleep or turn off the TV since we know the winning team already.

@ garyg : You can't say the sport is dumb. Tell this in front of Michael Jordan or Shaquille O Neal and for sure, they will kick your ***. Players in the NBA are college graduates and they cannot go into NBA without any units. Just like PBA. I bet you are watching PBA. Do you also know that Baseball and basketball players are the highest paid players in the US? So you learned something today ha!!!

Also, Basketball is not popularized in the slam areas. Go back to your history man!!! Or if you are dumb enough and forgot your history, this is what Wikipedia has got to tell you:

Lordathas...to tell you hapit tanang sports akong gi apilan gawas sa basketbaal ug baseball kay boring na maka bogo pa. Gamay pa ko shooting ug gymnastics na akong hilig. Teenager ko kay soccer. Karon kay sky diving unta pero mahal man. Climbing na lang ko sometimes then swimming then tennis then badminton then golf. For sure walay basketball and baseball.

you may say boring.. but don't ever say maka-bogo.. these games use any kinds of technique that they could think of to win the game.. :mrgreen:
