Just upgraded last night... speed is no difference to me.
Acer Aspire 4820t nga i5 ako gamit sa balay -- mag-5 yrs old na ni nga laptop.
Akong tanang APPS sa laptop kay naa pa man including my files pod.

Ang ako ra reason to upgrade is mainly b'coz it's FREE!
Plus ako product key sticker sa Win7 naki is dili na makita.

Later, i'll be doing clean install jud.

ako kai nag upgrade ra ko, kai FREE man. no major issue so far, other than sandiebox nako d na mudagan. MS Edge also faster, comparing to chrome. drivers for VIA HD soundcard and HD 2000 for intel 2nd gen failed after initial update, but driver installed as per device manager. no direct way to control what windowsupdate to download, i-apil nya drivers if available and its slow on a 1mbps connection. new interface, so needs some familiarity with gui(and advance settings). welcome back START menu.

take note, this is from a "clean" install.

If you have Windows 10 Home (upgraded from 7 Starter, Basic, Home Premium, 8.1 SL or 8.1 with Bing)
else you can disable it using Group Policy..

also in my experience Edge is indeed smooth (smoother than IE11 even though IE11 was smooth in the first place) fewer not responding tab episodes, the only problem is facebook which is demanding, I do not have problems with other browsers though.

To be honest though, current time of posting, Windows 10 still feels unfinished, there are many UI inconsistency such as 2 apps to change settings, Control Panel or the modern app settings, even some Windows 8.1 apps work better than Windows 10 modern apps such as Mail, but it will eventually get fixed, it's too early to tell just like how Windows 8 sucked so much and Windows 8.1 really fixed the issues...

if naa koy bag ong ssd and planning to install win10 on it (btw, my current os is win7 on my hdd). unya mag install ko using boot cd sa win10 on my ssd (Note: I will not upgrade from win7 to win10)

Answer: No, you need a Windows 10 product key for you to activate windows bro. You need to follow the "UPGRADE" path from Windows 7/8.1 for you to be eligible for a free upgrade to Windows 10. Once you already upgraded to Windows 10 (already activated), that's the time you can create a bootable ISO media through USB/DVD, this is very useful especially you are planning to reinstall your copy of windows, or mag ilis ka og storage device as what you mentioned to SSD. Inig clean install na nimo, you'll have an option to skip your product key, after your OS is installed you'll be given an option to activate windows online. (this will not work if you activate your windows in a different motherboard, it will only work sa katong PC imong gi gamit pag create through bootable ISO.

naa na baya ko boot cd sa win10 kay upgraded na ako laptop, ang problema pag upgrade lang gyud sa ako desktop nga win7, di kasaligan ang internet sa balay.

I might be upgrading to Windows 10 in the future. That is if i had already the budget to buy a laptop or maybe upgrade my pc or mybe buy a new pc if it got damage.
