yeah that was still in the late eighties or the early nineties but i still could find a cebuano band that has produced an album that surpassed that or came close to it. i like that album as much as i like the old metallica albums
kanang mga bands nga way producer mga amateurs ra na. if youre a professional song writer, you need a producer because the engineering involved in making a song is not cheap. many bands record their songs here for demo purposes only but if already for the album, many are recorded outside our country who has better facilities than studios in our country

And about cueshe man,ppl here don't even respect them,and yes, they just their singer who doesn't sing as well as their geetar player since he can suck up to those managers who obviously are flattered by his undying attention.pun intended.

i understand why some people here dont respect them. we are filipinos and filipinos are known to be crabs. if you are on top, people will bring you down. im not a fan of cueshe and i heard their song only on some puj's who are tuning in the fm radio and im not even sure of the title of that song. but i salute coz they achieved something.

bro, i dont think comparable ang music sa cueshe ug urbandub. yes, nisikat ang cueshe sa manila n maybe dri sa cebu dli man tungod sa quality sa ilahang music but tungod sa listeners nila over the radio ngamga masa. do u think that so called "masa" really know how to dig music quality? this thread is about who's better and not who's popular right? bands maybe more popular than the others but that doesn't mean nga they are better. anyway, have you heared of franco reyes bro?

having a good tune is just a recipe for a song to be a hit. it also needs good management and strategy. some bands may not be excellent players but they do some other things to fill the holes. kurt cobain is not really an excellent guitar player. he's an amatuer if you place him beside eddie van halen. his songs were done in three cords with cheap guitars and a few effects. but with his creativity, he became a legend.
and is franco reyes the vocalist of frank? well if he is, i did hear some of his songs. i was in abellana before when they were the opening act for grin department, yano ang wolfgang. their songs were ok but lacks the x factor. people there were just sitting down and anxiously waiting for the next performer. but in some of their concerts, they play songs from pearl jam very well.
