IAFT is really a good start for the film industry in the Phil, if not Asia. It's got to be a good opportunity to be in this facility. But sad to say, Pinoy's can't afford this. Kung pareha lang ta ug sweldo sa mga taga US ug other asian countries, well we could develop some great talents gyud that can rival hollywood and others in terms of graphics and equipment. Saun taman nga naay mga hidden talents pero wala lang maka explore kay way wawart i-palit ug good enough equipment. Naa gani ta mga Indie filmakers diri, maglisud pa gani kay sakto2x ratawn sa gamit, uban gani nagmantinir nalang ug video cam, kung magkalisud, Digicam nga naay movie.. huhuuhhuh...

Sakto gyud ka Onin, you guys you should see the big picture. Bigfoot is not just trying to build a school but an industry. You see, the real benefit of Mr. Gliessners millions is that, if he succeeds and makes a bollywood, a vancouver or a that very cold place in Canada (the name escapes me) where the vancouver industry has moved to is that it would be paradise for support industries, tourism and of course - kita tanan bisaya. Don't just think movies... there are commercial ads, soap opera's, game shows (kris is hosting the pinoy wheel of fortune), reality TV and long running program's (friend's type) that could just decide to take residence here, film here and employ people here. Kung ang spanish, Korean and other shows make it in Pinas translated into tagalog - why can't cebu films be exported to them translated to Korean, Spanish, etc Better yet, we all speak english.

And why would they not come? If they can film in canada where its cold almost half of the year, wouldn't the production be more effecient here? Remember the 80's na a lot of those Rambo type movies filmed here.

So to the Negative folk - think about the grasya na kita ang gi gastohan and wala mo adto si Michael sa Hongkong or Singapore. Count your blessings.
