2nd day with my omega and i can say i am loving it.

with regard to the issue of lagging, i really cant estimate the apps that would do it but as far as i have experienced, i opened a number of apps and i didnt experience any lag at all. im not much of a mobile gamer and the only game i have played on it is temple run and it is still smooth with some apps still open. i watched a couple of .avi videos and everything is smooth too. wifi and 3g connection has no problems at all. this is my first android and still tinkering with it but so far so good. some where having problems with putting a wallpaper and that the crop factor was an issue. didnt have a problem with this as i just extended the image size to accommodate the crop and without altering the image quality. im really not a pixel peeper so screen resolution isnt really an issue to me. as far as a regular user would think, the phone is good enough to look at. i charged my battery last night and after 6 hours (around 5am yesterday) started to tinker the device again. a few calls, texts, playing music and videos, downloading of apps thru wifi and some games, battery is still at 60% up to now (Feb 4 7:10am)! the 2350mah battery of the omega already amazes me. ive been to a nokia n900 and i was really not satisfied with its battery consumption. with the omega, im sure i will be able to enjoy it the whole day till next. while playing music using google music play, the speaker is still low even at the loudest volume setting. problem solved though when i used the SpeakerBoost app.

now im starting to love this device. for those who are having second thoughts about this device and if you are just a regular user like me, i suggest you get this. if there is a shortcoming, an app solved the problem. still dont have any major complaints as of the moment with a 6699 price tagged device.

BY THE WAY NEED HELP ON THE FB PAGE OF CHERRY MOBILE OMEGA USERS. CANT REALLY FIND IT. THANKS IN ADVANCE.

aw yeah!!! this wallpaper was 1920 x 1080 and i just resized it to 960x800 in order to fit the whole crop of the phone without altering the image quality.

how's it fare with the titan bai?? I was trying to compare this last week, when I bought my titan... its really a big device..5.2" a mere 0.2 inches higher than the titan...

its JB na dba? I think the fluidity of the UI is the result of the custom JB being installed on the phone...

Just used my titan as well, I think you've rooted your phone na, since SpeakerBoost only runs on rooted phones (that i'm sure of)

Im not sure if the titan and the omega share some minute similarity... (well aside from the 500 price difference lang between the two).

Both have 512 Ram size and 1ghz dual core... murag sa screen resolution and PPI and also the size ra jud ang edge sa Omega...

In terms of battery, I seem to recall that the Omega has a 2300mAH while the titan has a 2350mAh... so possibly mas taas2x pa cgurog batt juice ang titan as compared to the Omega sa??

bitaw bro na amaze jud ko sa iyang battery... gahapon ra ko cgeg video call, skype with my gf, 5% ra ang nakuha sa battery dn dugay kaau mi nag video call.. dn ang iyang front cam, dili xa ingon anah ka bati if mag video call, ingon akong ka video call nga mas klaro pa daw akong front cam, compared sa itouch 4th gen nko if mag skype mi.. then wa pa sad ko ka experience ug lag.. di mn sad ko heavy gamer.. so far, im so satisfied with this phone, its my 3rd day..

aw? hehehe.. naa man gd sa cherrymobile website and most reviews pud sa youtube bai nga naay edge gamay ang Titan over the Omega in terms sa battery life... comparison wise ba...

pero OS, phone size/screen reso.. hands down ko sa Omega.... hehe mao man ta ni akong paliton jud ang Omega, pero tanaw nako murag nakalabaw man sa mga reviews ang Titan over sa Omega, PLUS ang the +500 price diff pa jud (which in my dictionary dako na pud na gamay), didto nalang ko sa Titan ni go..

im not sure with titan since i havent used it. was able to compare it sa store nuon and since its my first android phone, i opted for the jelly beaned -omega. hehe yes JB na cya. ive heard about phones being "rooted" and i really dont have an idea what it is and its uses. need pako mu research pa ani. pero my phone is still 2 days old and i havent done any "rooting" kay di pako kibaw and im not sure kung rooted ba ni or dili. naka install man ko sa speakerboost without any problems nuon.

yes i think the battery is promising. as a regular user satisfied na kaayo ko ani. regular calls and texts plus a little FB and checking of emails plus music and videos and a little games, ok na kau ni nga device. im planning to buy a car mount holder para mabutang sa dashboard sa ako awto. at least pwede pud maka tanaw salida ang kuyog nmu. hehe

anyone knows kung naa naba screen protector specific aning omega as well as jelly case? some say ang galaxy note 2 nga jelly case masulod daw. pero im not sure of this as well as sa buttons placement kung sakar ba. try pud nya nako kung pwede ba mga car chargers ani using usb.

wa pako nag second charge. as of the moment gikan sa first charge nga 6 hours, the device has been running more than 24 hours na with still 48% battery.
