This law ain't so bad as long as it sticks to its purpose and not creep on our freedom of expression and opinions we share online. Maybe they should just exclude libel cases. I can already see lawsuits over tiny-issues blown out-of-proportion over nonsensical matters and trash-talking going back and forth from social networks. It's just the internet ffs.
tungod ini gi hack sad ang bsp nga website
saonz ani nga dali ra ma lusot ang website sa gubyerno.

asa man ang twelve years ani? Republic Act No. 10175 | Official Gazette of the Republic of the Philippines
stupid IDEA
you guys give them an inch and they'll take a mile. This bill is unconstitutional, you need not to look beyond the bill of rights to find that:
with this bill, libel and defamation could be anything deemed negative. That's no longer a democracy, that's is the gateway into totalitarianism.Section 4. No law shall be passed abridging the freedom of speech, of expression, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble and petition the government for redress of grievances.
Not only does it go against our bill of rights (which are unalienable btw), but it also goes against the ICCPR, which the Philippines is a signatory and a ratifier.

It looks like this law is already making a negative impact on the politics board. Folks aren't speaking their minds with regard to public figures. Is this the beginning of the end for free speech? Have we allowed ourselves to be intimidated by a half-baked bill with an emphasis on "vague".
^ This law takes effect today. We should push amendment or else say goodbye to free speech.
Unsa may ikasulti sa atong mga senador na halos tanang government website gipang hack ( defaced) man.
