Guys i was wondeirng about those 2.1 creative speakers that pc express is selling for less than 1000 pesos are they any good? i think one is known as the XFREE 2.1 or something the other one i forgot the model name though.

Also, PCquickbuys is also sealling labtec brand which is also 2.1 and less than 1000 pesos!!!!?

fwiw, the logitech z-680 is rated 450w total RMS. about 52 watts per channel and about 188 watts for the 8"sub. Its been reviewed and tested to give "honest" RMS power output. how honest i don't know.lowest frequency according to specs is 35Hz. I haven't tested it coz don't got no SPL meter. But i think a test tone sweep of 20-20khz should reveal what frequencies its capable of producing.

If na a kay sound forge or wavelab, you can generate a pink noise test tone nya i filter nimo with parametric eq at 5 octave intervals ( 32hz,64hz,125,240,500,1k,2k,4k, 8k) para ma hibawan nimo ang capabilties. Im sure nindot gyud na sila ug sound for near-field purposes, but if you want the best speaker, system, ikabit na imong pc digitally to a real home theatre system.
