Agree, Naa na sa ako previous post.

2 Do you or do you not agree that faith without works is dead?
    Same answer as #1.

    3. Do you or do you not agree that when you do good work it is not your own merit but that of God who gave you grace?
Agree. After a person is saved, God will work through the believer.

duda ko wa ta nagkasinabot kay di ta pareha ug point kun kanus-a ang tao maconsider ug "saved"

Does that mean, then that good works is a manifestation of genuine faith? If so does that mean that we are saved by faith AND good works?

P.S. At the start of the thread, TS shared it is only through 'faith ONLY' or 'faith AND good works' and there is no other option.
No, because good works follow after a person is saved not a requirement to be saved.

A person, despite being a Christian can still sin. Impossible kaayo na wa jud kasala ang tao sa iyang pagpuyo aning kalibutana.

Then Person B, non-Christian, let's say he/she was born into the world without any concept of Christianity or even religion (a mentally-challenged person perhaps or he/she lives in an area where religion is absent) did the same good deeds/works and committed no sin.

Do both go to "heaven"? Or is one better than the other?

    Happy New Year all!
We better ask the judge when the time comes kay siya ra jud ang makatubag aning pangutanaha.

No amount of good deeds can make you right with God because if there is then God wouldn't have sent His Son to pay for our sins.

says who? think in practical terms bai and set aside Theological biases, why? thousands of years have passed wa pa gihapon nag agree ang Christendom as to what constitute biblical soteriology.

there are denominations that believe salvation takes faith AND good works.

again if you take faith but if its not accompanied by good works its still not faith at all so just skip the FAITH indoctrination and go straight to good works.

Question lang for those who believe in sola fide:

In the case of CDO/Iligan tradegy, what are we going to do to help?

1.) Pray for them, hope for a fast recovery.
    or
2.) Pray for them, and at the same time, donate money/relief goods, or be a volunteer.

I'm not talking about doing something just to get justified or reserve a place in heaven.
I'm talking about what needs to be done, or what is the will of God..

Says the Apostles. I'd rather you believe in faith + work than work without faith. Again why would there be a need for God's only Son to suffer for man's sin if man can reach God by his own merit? Is Christ's work on the cross count for nothing?

I find it strange why you only address this questions to the believers of sola fide since, as you said, you're not talking about justification.

Anyway to answer your question it's Pray and if you have the capacity to donate then donate.

like I said Christendom is entirely divided on this point and each division would quote the Apostles as their point of authority. In other words bai your claim can easily be dismiss as Theological Bias rather than taken to be absolute truth.

Your question can easily be answered this way...if there was no sacrifice ang pultahan sa kaluwasan dili ma abli. Jesus was the key but your footsteps are needed.

my position bai is good works no need for faith. kay bisan na kay pagtoo pero sige gihapon ka og makasala wa gihapon nay polos imong faith. so diretso na sa good works.

^^ Your answer is not quite clear.. Is it option 1 or option 2?
