Wow! Great photos of the Philippines. Thanks to all who've shared. Thanks TS for creating this thread. Remarkable photography indeed and the places look even more inviting.
I am very sorry but I have to break one of my rules... I only have one picture to post because I shot the scene on one single location due to a heavy downpour... shot under a make-shift shelter to get a safety shot....
Tinago Falls is one of the famous falls of iligan. It is indeed a majestic one. I was here years back and it still never ceased to amaze me and am very thankful to the LGU in somehow controlling the development of such majestic falls. Tinago Falls can be accessed thru the Town of Linamon. After a 326 steps down, you will be greeted by a great waterfalls.... now the problem awaits.... 326 steps back up
again am sorry for not covering different angles of Tinago because of heavy downpour

Iligan is such a wonderful place when talking about waterfalls... atleast 23 known waterfalls lays within Iligan... I could only wish that I could cover all.... some would take 2-days trek and on uncharted areas

The magnificent Maria Cristina Falls on a rainy day. Maria Cristina was once a raging waterfalls until it was tamed when its force was converted unto a hydroelectric power plant thus supplying most of Mindanao its power. The falls is just within the City of Iligan.
During rainydays the premises will not allow any visitors. I was just lucky to be given a special privilege. The might of the falls is seen during Sundays at around 11:30am wherein most gate valves are open for tourists and locals to admire.
