Quality is not the strongest point for us Filipinos. We always shortchanged ourselves by choosing what is cheaper yet defective rather than what is durable. Its a matter of how we Filipinos think that's really troubling.
Example:
Customer: Papalita ta ug bombilya be.. kanang barato lang.
Tindera: Kani ai, china tag 25 pesos ra
Customer: Ay ayaw na China, dali maguba...walay arangan dira,, kanang GE pila man na?
Tindera: 125 pesos... lig-on jud ni hinoon... abot cguro ni 2 ka tuig basta dili lang cge pawng siga.
Customer: Mahala pud ana ui... Walay barato na lig-on dira? Ayaw na lang miss... mag candila na lang ku.

Hmmm... Let's try to put away the mentality "Kay pobre man gud mi." This thinking alone has cemented Filipinos into poverty. It's as if it is an excuse to become unproductive, to be become insignificant. It is not so much as the corruption of the government that has made this country impoverished, but it is the way average Filipinos think and live with their lives. I tell you, this Poverty Mentality has been putting corrupt officials into high positions, the same officials these Poverty-Mentality people keep on blaming for so many years. It has been a blaming game. We always had a loser mentality. We are so excited when we hear about dole outs. "Hala, naay libre bag, gpanghatag ngadto sa brgy hall ai...igu ra ka mu sign ug papel..." The more we receive charity from other people, the more we put our dignity deeper into the ground. It is in this Poverty-Mentality that Corruption has sprouted and spread infinitely, far across the seven thousand plus islands of the Philippines.

kana imong gisulti nga wala ma-asphalt, may i ask u first... asa ka nga barangay?? basin taga north district ka... kay focus rabang tommy karon kay south district coz he is running for congress... partly affected ang basic services sa north district... pero im sure if mike will win, mabalik rana ang basic services all over the city...

since last elections pa ng panghambog nga asphalt storm mam... mayor pa to si tomas.
pero wala man... may na lang gani nagka asean summit, nakatilaw ato mga sakyanan ug
hapsay na kadalanan... garbage collections lang gani, dili pa makatuman sa tukmang sched,
daghan basic services wala naatiman.. awa lang ng mendicancy nato... unsa man nabuhat ana?

im not for this current administration... and im not for kusug too... thats why im abstaining on this elections.
its sad and very unfortunate for the people of cebu city to be left with such an awful choice for leaders.

I would surely go straight for BOPK but i wont be voting for their choice of president and vice president, ive seen how cebu has grown with bopk, my cousin, grandfather and uncle are receiving the fruits from the SRP. Im surely its another landslide for mike rama, by the way neighbor rami nila, thats why i would vote for him since he know how to be public servant.
