I'm sorry but being Filipino and voting correctly won't buy me food to eat for the next few days.

Poor people like me need the money so we can live our day to day lives.

di bale makadaug sila, basta lang i dont want to be a party to it.

wala bitaw ko nibotar kang tomas for the last two elections, and yet kadaug siya.. ok ra man.
ang ako lang, i wont vote for them even if theyre already shoo-ins to win anyway.

im pretty sure u aint poor. its just us that we think we are poor.

quote lang ko ni gikan ni emow from another thread.... and its very well said labi na kanang linya nga "kay pobre man gud mi."......

Customer: Ay ayaw na China, dali maguba...walay arangan dira,, kanang GE pila man na?
Tindera: 125 pesos... lig-on jud ni hinoon... abot cguro ni 2 ka tuig basta dili lang cge pawng siga.
Customer: Mahala pud ana ui... Walay barato na lig-on dira? Ayaw na lang miss... mag candila na lang ku.

Hmmm... Let's try to put away the mentality "Kay pobre man gud mi." This thinking alone has cemented Filipinos into poverty. It's as if it is an excuse to become unproductive, to be become insignificant. It is not so much as the corruption of the government that has made this country impoverished, but it is the way average Filipinos think and live with their lives. I tell you, this Poverty Mentality has been putting corrupt officials into high positions, the same officials these Poverty-Mentality people keep on blaming for so many years. It has been a blaming game. We always had a loser mentality. We are so excited when we hear about dole outs. "Hala, naay libre bag, gpanghatag ngadto sa brgy hall ai...igu ra ka mu sign ug papel..." The more we receive charity from other people, the more we put our dignity deeper into the ground. It is in this Poverty-Mentality that Corruption has sprouted and spread infinitely, far across the seven thousand plus islands of the Philippines.

its sad and very unfortunate for the people of cebu city to be left with such an awful choice for leaders.

I would surely go straight for BOPK but i wont be voting for their choice of president and vice president, ive seen how cebu has grown with bopk, my cousin, grandfather and uncle are receiving the fruits from the SRP. Im surely its another landslide for mike rama, by the way neighbor rami nila, thats why i would vote for him since he know how to be public servant.

Significantly pildi si Alvin sa biggest forum in Cebu.

I remembered that Sun Star covered Istorya.Net before with the Mandaue issue.

Why don't they put this particular thread in Sun Star?

I guess not kay di man pabor sa ilaha.
