My simple setup...I made it from 8:00 am to around 8:15 am this morning
It's a toilet paper tube, expanded to fit the collar of my S3IS, with a Gauge 10 welder's glass taped onto the opening.
Setting up at Banawa, Luthienne taking photos.
Naay mga curious bystanders...we let them use our welder's glass
Luthienne taking photos of the "tree shadow" phenomenon, when the circles of light in a tree shade turn into mini-partial-eclipses...
My first shot, taken at around 8:55AM at Lahug...eclipse has just started...I was using a makeshift filter at this point so the result was blurred, but you can see the moon has started to cross the sun's disk...
My second shot, after arriving and setting up at Banawa, 9:22AM
Shot taken at 9:35AM, Banawa
Maximum coverage, at 9:41AM, Banawa, Cebu City.
That's all folks!
