@aquafire: i have an mp3 of the live version and i think it has harmonica. i hope my ears didn't deceive me. if you hear any other Counting Crows songs with harmonica, please tell me. i might recognize them. or if i don't, i am sure to like them. thanks in advance. : )

Just listened to mp3 of "A long dec" And I think the 'harmonica' sound may be an accordion, a melodica or a sampled bagpipe. It does sound like a tremolo type of harmonica but definitely not a diatonic harp.
If you are interested we can arrange a harp part during the solo.

@aquafire: it's too bad, they do play the harmonica. at least two of the band members do. but no harmonica in a long december? buhuhu.. was it the live version u listened to? but if you can arrange a harp part, that still would be great.

i still haven't found the remaining 9 songs with harmonica. i would love it if they were by the Counting Crows. but if u have other songs you can suggest (aside from the Counting Crows), i might recognize them and might even have liked them and just didn't notice they have harmonica.

I don't think it was the live version. There may be a harmonica on th live version. I'll try to listen to the live version. Give me a couple of days or so to find a copy of the live version.
