much work means more control.. more control means lesser population..

So therefore we need the government to impose an iron hand to its people, just like China. Lessons learned due to punitive action is a very effective information campaign to people who already heard pero mag pa gahi lang gihapon sa ilang ulo. Discipline is what is important and not only in population problem but to all problems now faced by Filipinos. We lack discipline.

i believe dapat naay mga dako nga punishment dapat. it's more as a mind setting man jud. probably a diversion for the ills of life so magbuhat na lang ug bata ang lingaw sa mga tawo. dako jud na nga factor kung makatabang jud ang government but as we all know, the catholic church is so influential in our society so there will be no change for sure.

i beg to disagree.. i don't think punishment is a solution for uncontrolled population.. instead of implementing punishment, why not develop a "strict" program for people to learn how to adhere to the law..

kung naay balaud ug naay nagsupak then naay punishment... either fine, tulog pila ka adlaw sa selda, or bisag unsa basta fair and reasonable.
