Go to facilities where snakes are kept. Try sa Pipers petshop kay naa man sila mga snake baligya basin pwede ka kahangyu nga imu gunitan. Oh yeah, now i remember kung asa, go to crocolandia this sunday kay foundation day nila. My nephew is a participant of one of their contests and one of the activities they have for the day is their "animal encounter". Snakes mana ila ipagawas (murag crocs mansad gani). Basin adto pud ko kay dugay na ko wala ka adto.
    where's crocolandia?
this coming sunday? 25th of january?
how do i do that? registration fee? or should my profession be anything related to herpertology?

nothing to thank about bro, i'm just trying to alleviate the status of snakes from the dampened entity which has been destroyed by mis informations, religion and societal pesecution. They ought not to be treated in such way. A lot of harmless snakes have been suffering from a wet blanket that carpets the whole entity of snakes in general. People ought to know that snakes are helpful and not something to be despised and persecuted like dangerous criminals. By educating the public we can take them out fromthe sad fate that befalls upon them. Hope istorya can be a good avenue towards this elusive and ambitious goal.

Since you're in Bohol, why not go to Prony.....the largest captive python we have in the Phils. I heard they let people touch it. I even have a picture of it with its care taker. I suggest you try but with full caution......its a one in a lifetime experience.....

Crocolandia is located in Talisay. Their program says that they'll have the animal encounter in the afternoon....for confirmation i suggest you call them @273-1842. Nope you dont need to be an herpetologist all you need to do is go there and pay their entrance fee and you'll get to experience touching their pythons.

from where? if its from Cebu or Mindanao, it can only be either of the two....Varanus salvator cumingii or varanus salvator rudicollis....how to tell them apart? if it has equally patterned scales at the nape then it the cumingii's monitor pero kung irregular ang pattern (meaning naay dagko ug gagmay nagsagol) then rough necked monitor na cya. Tagsa ra ang cumingii's monitor diri sa Cebu and is also referred as the largest we have here in the Phils. The rough necked monitor on the other hand is found through out Cebu. Pero if its from Luzon or iloilo/negros then i cant be sure na kay they have a lot of varried monitors there, they even have frugivorous (totally fruit eating monitors) monitors with them. try to get a picture of the nape area then we'll see.
