if you guys are into japanese yakiniku, i would recommend KANYOEN at the ground floor of castle peak hotel in mabolo. place is clean. food is really good. attentive servants. a different experience when you grill food under a slow fire... yum!

I've been dining at kanyoen occasionally over the years, and found each time a delight. I would recommend their oyster mushrooms, and fish over the grill.

Call for reservations as they are usually full. Also take into consideration that the smoke from the grill sticks to your clothing; bring an extra shirt if you plan to proceeed elsewhere. My rating, 5/5 as well.
