This is the second phase of our advocacy to promote reading through storytelling by reaching to more communities in Cebu and its neighboring provinces.

On June 28, be one with us by organizing your own storytelling session in your school, barangay or even at home! Upload photos of your storytelling/reading session with the following hashtags: #ilovetoreadmore and #thebasadours .

To help you in organizing your storytelling session, the Basadours is coming out with a storytelling guide complete with tips and how-tos in organizing, conducting and hosting creative and fun sessions.

Its been years since I have been to a library. This generation do not appreciate the value of libraries anymore because of the Internet and the instant information it offers.
One of the things I learned from going to libraries is being patient and thorough, you cant get that from the Internet.

Depende pud ni siya MAM, ebooks logically be the perfect device for me as a Travel Person

i luv ebooks it moves me I can carry my entire library with me everywhere i go BUT i really

love my paperbacks twice.

we all know that ebook is much more convenient and has some serious advantages over

paperback but I love my books. From the fascination that starts when I first start a book in

the first few pages to the excitement that goes on to the end I just dont feel that thrill on

ebook and besides I love to collect books and I just get a good "feel" when I see all the books

of a particular series stacked up together. The smell of the pages and the excitement of having

finished a 500 page book is felt only in paperbacks and i seriously hope that ebook will never

completely replace paperbacks.

storytelling sessions are done Cebu City Public Library only? or is it possible to invite them to visit from example school.
