It is very unlikely that they throttle ping.... their routes are frequently changing for the dsl subscribers. The thing that you mean with ping is the latency and this latency increases as route change, upstreams saturate, problematic router on route, and other factors. As long as you are below 400 for web browsing you are fine. 150 below for gaming fine, 200 below is still acceptable...

You should be more concerned if you see frequent request timed outs or worse destination host unreacheable errors with your connection.

So, possible boss nga mabalik patong ping nako sauna 60-80ms sa SEA Servers? Kay basin temporary routing issue lang ni, kasuway nuon ko sauna musaka usahay akong ping pero di ingun ani ka grabi kay karon di najud mada, more than 200ms na SEA Server, sa tanan steam games. Yes.... its not only globe that your packets come into.. after globe there are few ISP and backbone providers maong ingon ana na sya. Unlike dedicated lines which are premium, isolates this kind of move as much as possible.

I dont play any online ganes. I just download movies for my leisure time. My brother does with dota2 steam. He never complains bisag ga download ko. Anyway my network is equipped with a professional router, with QoS. And it plays a major role to manage connections
