    I mentioned that I know your background so you can specifically tell me what the advantage is if my CV will go through you and so will not have to make a long speech. Since you are not with HR you have no special connection to the Department Lead and Manager in my department, you are a young employee, so what benefit or special advantage can I get?

    These are just few of the advantages.

    If a person thinks those would not benefit them, then referral is not for that person.
    It is always case to case.
    What may not work for some, may work for others.

    Bottom line, referral is a choice.
    Everyone is already given the information here on the outline of the process.
    Something to help on the decision is always better than none.

    People of Fluor Cebu don't need special connections.
    We can just promptly walk right through their office and ask what is that we came to ask.
    We may also chat or call them.

    In case of referrals, my style is that on the same day i submit for a referral, i communicate with the respective hiring manager for that position. Early awareness is key.
    Again, that style may favor some, for some it may not.

    As long as everything is done ethically, the referral program is for all Fluor members.
    With exception of the hiring managers and the HRs of course.

    Comparing to Fluor Cebu's existence, I am not a young employee anymore, but thank you.

    @shryock, saying “Fluor is leading in almost everything” is saying a lot. I’m not sure if you genuinely mean that (Assuming that you already worked @ the other epc’s like amec, Worley-parsons…etc. for you to compare) or just too naïve. My point is companies have different policies and benefits for their employees, Choose which one works for you and stay there. As for me I’m still looking for that perfect balance.

    Please remember that fluor is an EPC company and like all other EPC kung walay project wala sad man-hour and kung walay man-hour wala sad employee, mao gani na majority sa mga empleyado diha kay contract base diba.

    Kato gitapulan nako upload ako ra man gipa upload ako amigo na civil sa iya cv sa website. Nag msg nalang siya nako na human na siya interview.

    Sa ako lang walay advantage ang mu refer nimo na wala kahibaw sa imo capability ug personality. Di nang binasa sa CV na capability. For sure walay maayung department head mu tuo ug storya lang dayon and inyo relationship friend sa istorya.

    Unsa diay na department imo applyan unta?

    Inst. Control and naa ko kaila diha sa I&C boss na nakaila nako muna nangutana ko...mu submit nalang ko sa inyu website dayon mu email nalang ko nya for follow up. salamat

    murag wala man hiring siguro ako gi check, mga April pa to na post. Mangutana sa ko sa lead. Basin naa ka programming experience pwede ra ka sa smartplant development pero di lang sa Fluor. PM lang sa imo experience pero kung taas2x na imo experience sa CS nevermind nalang di siguro ka ma interested.
