Guys, we will be helping a fellow istoryan with the funds she needs for her baby's operation. The fund raising activity will be through a sportsfest with 3 events: basketball, volleyball and badminton. Further details will be posted.

So about the sportsfest...I need your thoughts.

I'm thinking of just having at least 4 teams (2 for boys and girls) then registration fee would be P900 per team so that's P150 per person. The P50 goes to the trophies and medals then the P100 goes to the money we'll pledge for the recipient of the fund raiser.

So let's say we'll have at least 6 members for each team:
P100 x 6 = P600
P600 x 4 = P2,400
P50 x 6 = P300
P300 x 4 = P1,200

P2,400 - the money we'll be able to contribute
P1,200 - the money for 3 trophies and medals for special awards (to be sorted out later)

IF the money for the awards would be too much, we can add the rest to the pledge money. Or if you want, we can hire an official referee and get his pay from there. Please, share your thoughts.

We need suggestions on how the line-up per team would be, guidelines and ground rules, maximum number of teams and other things you can suggest for our event.

Venue: Old Sacred Heart Gym
Date: none yet but it will surely be on a Sunday
Events: Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton
Duration: 1 DAY

PS: The basketball club is raising 6K out of their registration fees of 1K per team with 6 teams playing during the sportsfest. I'm thinking how we can raise our pledge too. I don't want people to be discouraged because of the registration fee, if ever they think it's too much.
