i was walking around the whole day from 10am-3pm.

i loved the power of the ID, im going to register again next year. wla ko problema getting up close and everything! cge lang ko kit lens, might use a 50mm next year if i can get close

the problem really are some photographers bringing LADDERS stopping the contingents from moving forward, i frowned upon that! you cant stop them from dancing and moving forward to take a picture! pfff

i kept moving with the dancers and stayed on the sides as much as possible, i stayed in the front area or at the back area of the contingents

most photographers dont have the common courtesy that there are people behind them also wanting to watch and see a view, also disrespectful enough to say HEY can you guys stop and pose for a bit? really, i shook my head at that kind of behavior,

if u guys had trouble taking pics is that most photographers also stayed in HUGE groups! esp around mango, i was waking around p.del rosario and probably only 10 photographers were taking pics along that street, i was kind of shocked to see that sometimes theres this beautiful queen and im the only one!

anyway i had lots of fun, i just got home from the afterparty and im still revved up hahaha,

worst sinulog ever!!! for the past 3 yrs. of joining the event this year was the worst. poor crowd control execution. (as in) it was still 1 pm but the streets were getting narrow every minute.
the NO ID and VEST policy were plainly BS. dghan kaau wa naka ID pero naka sulod. pangutan on nimo ang marshal ngano gipa sulod ang tubag "ma uwaw ko mo badlong sir basig kasab an ko" tsk3x and I'm guessing he doesn't even know what the word "marshal" means.....
same as last year wa gyd sila naka sulbad ana na issue!!!
hina-ot next year ma tarung na tawn for a change kay for me the P750 is not really worth it.

pit senyor gihapon for the successful event!for the contingents the people and the photographers who were there despite the heavy rain.

To those who have ladders, I suggest have it modified to have wheels with lock para sayun ninyu ipa dagan hehehe - ge hasolan ko tan aw ninyu. I hope you really got great pics.

Poor crowd control indeed. I was able to get in and all I had to say was "Kauban man to nako sila" then pointed at some random people from the dancers. ;__;

And the foreingers. o_o Maygad. The power of being a foreigner. As in. @_@

@bro hayden: Ngano man bai? I thought that would be best kay dili naman daw paduol-on mga photogs pareha sa una?

Ideally bai it's the best unta kaso daghan kaayo ug mga wide lens users (with ID/no ID) nga modumog, dili man lang gani mo tan-aw naa ba tao sa ilang likod. Disappointed ko sa crowd control implementation. It's a dog eats dog world out there....

2. Kana sang moShoot nga 1-2 meters na ang distance gikan sa nawng sa queen.
Tagbaw tawn ug ingon ang queen nga "excuse sa ha..."

3. Sigeg uwan.
Naa gani toy ## nga wala na kaandar kay nabasa sa uwan. Hope nga marecover pato.

4. Niapil nalang ko sa Crowd control.
kay ang mga tao di naman mapugngan kong naa artista.... Faetz.... Kinsa manang mga artistaha uy... Gidiscourage naman na kay tiglawgaw mana sila sa parade....

Regarding special treatment given to the foreigners,
Dugay na jud na.. Sugot pod na Sila sa mga Dili Taga
Sugbo, I dunno if this is what they call their way of being
Hospitable... Kay in my case, Igo ra ko magtagalog
Super bait kaau mga tigbantay, Sila pa'y mo-suggest

I never thought ing Ana na diay Pirme ang prob abt the
Mardi gras being that it's my first time to be in the streets.
I hope next yr will be better and improvements will be made.

so far, the sinulog celebration went well and for me it was a success... not to mention i was just watching the entire celebration in my television. =) so no hassle for me...hehehe nonetheless, I enjoyed watching everything! ...and its nice to hear good comments from people who participated the event.. Pit Senyor everyone!
