    Just sharing this stressful experience.

Last Monday, around 9PM I was driving along Mango Avenue exiting from Fooda near yellow cab junction box. 3 CITOM officers called my attention and revoked my license for turning right at red signal.

There were no road signs saying "No Right Turn on red signal" or "Turn right at anytime with care" and the road was clear with no cars in sight.

I also noticed around 4 motorcycle riders caught for the same violation.

I was thinking they were up for something but I never offered them.

The next day I went to LTO-7 to claim my license only to be led by fixers to the direct office of the said arresting officer asking us to pay the fine plus a 'fee' to skip all the hassles.

I never paid a fixer because this would only encourage CITOM officers/fixers to do this over again.

The fine is worth 1278 pesos.

Now, my question is do you think it's a violation to turn right at red signal?

Below is an info about red signal from LTO website:
    ...
    III. Traffic Signals
    RED SIGNAL

...Unless a sign indicates otherwise, a right turn may be made on a red signal or from a one-way street to a one-way street provided the vehicle is first brought to a stop, and always subject to the right of way of pedestrians and other traffic.
