the problem with self administration of vaccine is where to get supply of the said vaccine, and the issue of how the vaccine was handled during transpo and storage by the supplier. from my experience, usually, those non vet vaccines are the common source of mishandled vaccines. my logic on these is that kung ang vet ang mu administer sa vaccine, naa sila accountability sa said vaccine so most probably, their vaccines are properly handled,if non vet, wala man sila accountability kay in the first place, illegal man ang non-vet administration of vaccine.

hmm, interesting perspective. do you think some breeders self-administer vaccines to their litters?

i think it is worthwhile we discuss how do we check if the vaccine is self-administered or not. it might be common sense for some but there might be others who wouldn't have a clue...

yes sir, there are some breeders that self administer their vaccines. on how to check? every sticker that they stick on the vaccination card, at the rightmost side, there is a column there that says administered by: you should check if its signed by a vet and has a corresponding license number of the vet. though not foolproof, but it is one of the things to watch out for.
