    God forbid!

Lamdagan unta ang presidente nga dili unta niya hugawhugawan ang election karong Mayo 13.
Tagaan unta nila ang mga tawo sa kagawasan nga makabotar sa ilang konsensya.

They also say privately that Davide is not his own man and is very indecisive and nowhere near as intelligent s PJ. Thus , they have decided to support PJ and make sure PJ is not cheated. I read the articles in today's issue of Sunstar and the Freeman. I think this says a lot about the candidates qualities and qualifications. Also, the LP camp has just shown their despiration by filing midnight tax evesion charges against PJ, Binghay and Zambo. It's not for me to say whether or not they are guilty, that's for the courts to decide. I am just saying that the timing is purely political making it highly suspect in my eyes. It would be interesting to see if this would impact the results of the elections. Just a few more days before D-day. Abangan!!!
intelligence, competence, etc etc are really irrelevant for me if the candidate is corrupt; and anybody who attempts to explain the balili is actually an okay deal is corrupt! everyone knows corruption is the root cause of all our misery now. so, the first criterion in everyone's list for choosing a candidate should be that the candidate must not be corrupt.

also, whatever the motivation, whether political or pure harassment is actually beside the point. time and again, it has been amply shown that this line of defense is the usual excuse of the guilty. granting the motive is political, does it follow that the charge is not true?come to think of it, if an accused is actually innocent, surely he would have other more meritorious defense other than this over-used defense of "politically motivated", would he not?

Well, the election is finally over. Hope the counting goes smoothly and the winners are declared as soon as possible. I believe we should all now rally and unite behind our elected leaders and work for a better Cebu! It's just unbelievable to me that Grace Poe leads the senate race as of the moment. When will we Filipinos ever learn?? Anyway, congratulations to all!
