i'm an OFW & i came home sa Cebu last September kay lubong sa akong suod nga uncle. since both my wife & i were coming back to the same employer, we already filed for an exemption sa OEC sa OWWA nga website.

i printed a screenshot showing nga exempted na mi sa akong wife so the only thing we paid was the travel tax for our daughter. pagabot namo sa Manila since connecting flight man mi going back abroad, right after we passed through the entrance going to the terminal gate, nihapit mi sa POEA office, gamay ra siya nga office.

we showed them our boarding pass, passport with visa & voila, we were given Php550 each.

so at least, naa name ready nga pesos daan iguli namo balik pohon..hehe

Yep. Mao sad na sa akong pagkahibaw kay katong sa manila ko, nangayo man ko og print out sa receipt sa JetStar para ma-present nako sa refund counter. Pang-starbucks pa sa airport. Hehehehe.

Pero katong Cebu ko gikan, wala koi refund.

as far as i know, naa sa naa na sa ticket ang terminal fee if gikan ka NAIA.that is why if ofw ka then agi ka manila,pwede ka pa refund. sa cebu different story. dili pa automated ang collection sa terminal fee. although soon it will be.

Pero nindut ni ila plano kung magstart na. Php500 is a big amount na pud bya. Ready money na inigsunod uli ba.

i think ang pag abolish sa terminal fee sa NAIA is to abolish the additional burden sa ofw's nga mo linya napud for refund. luoy pud baya.linya pa sa check in, linya napud sa refund. so pwede na diretcho immigration after check in.ayus au.
