sa cebu kay afaik, both terminal fee and travel tax ang exemption sa OFW.
as far as i know mao ni process sa MIA airport for both.
Not OFW = Pay Travel Tax > Check In > Pay Terminal Fee > Immigration > Boarding Gate
OFW = OWWA officer authentication(iya pirmahan ang OEC)> Check In(no need for travel tax checkin counter will ask for the signed OEC > Get Terminal Fee Receipt(No need to Pay) > Immigration > Boarding Gate
i'm an OFW & i came home sa Cebu last September kay lubong sa akong suod nga uncle. since both my wife & i were coming back to the same employer, we already filed for an exemption sa OEC sa OWWA nga website.
i printed a screenshot showing nga exempted na mi sa akong wife so the only thing we paid was the travel tax for our daughter. pagabot namo sa Manila since connecting flight man mi going back abroad, right after we passed through the entrance going to the terminal gate, nihapit mi sa POEA office, gamay ra siya nga office.
we showed them our boarding pass, passport with visa & voila, we were given Php550 each.
so at least, naa name ready nga pesos daan iguli namo balik pohon..hehe
Php500 is a big amount na pud bya. Ready money na inigsunod uli ba.
Thanks Duterte Administration!
