I already explained this I'll make it a lil simpler.

1. I told you not to engage in "what if" scenarios we all know we will only go no where. I can make my own "what if" to what avail ?
what if the P50B was added to the existing P40B gov't dole out, will that benefit our economy that much? compare to spending it on infrastructures, building EPZ which helps i creating jobs... etc
what if the P50B was spend overseas like eqipment purchase, defense purchase etc.
what if the P50B was used to funded to project which doesnt pump the economy.
blah blah blah yes true theres no end to this childish shenanigans. why would we argue on things that never happened, will never happen ?


2. How can you compute corruption? how can you come up with P50B in the first place? even judicial process takes time to figure out corruption.
If you are statiscian for NSCB how would compute GDP quarterly (less than 4months to work on) ? would you subtract corruption value which is imaginary ? would you make two computation of GDP, one with corruption and the other without corruption ?
NO, why would you bother ? theres no proof to backed your data... you will only court problems.

statiscian only base their GDP computation on data they have.. if the govt spend this much then thats it. if its P2T govt spending.. mao na.


3. I told you the govt is inefficient, losses will only compound. if they dont lose it on corruption they lose it from something else eg. profiterring businessmen.

Ex. 1. Project A cost 1M but businessman get 200k profit.
2. Project B cost 1M but businessman gets 100k corrupt politician get 100k.

either way the govt didnt fully utilize the 1M.. if they are efficient they build the project themselves.
Its not only the corrupt politicians take advantage on the gov't . how about companies who profit from govt in exchange to sub standard projects?

4. Budget appropriation - the thing is.. every gov't expenditure has a budget. if they alloted P40B on dole out, its meant to be spend everything on such endeavors if theres corruption ana, then its a loss. you dont say whatever be save (from corruption, profiteering) should be spend on building school etc. . Different budget are alloted in school building etc.

5. Growth can outpace losses. Thats what happening in China eventhough they estimate $80B corruption per year. Chinese govt invest on many things even Ghost cities lol. compare here kanang Balili property himuan pa ug issue.. for seaport / EPZ which could create jobs man tana na.

In your scenario I would prefer if the businessman made 200k profit, as he is going to invest it in another company that will generate more jobs. 200k to a politician is 200k into a black hole.
