my pastor says evolution is not true but when i studied medical technology and nursing murag dili gyud mao ang gitudlo sa among church. i was among who stood against the views of my church because they are not being true and logical.

my faith and conviction tells me that as teachers and christians we have to be honest and truthful to our students. what is taught by our church is speculation.

Sis, what you are saying are could just be a simple misinterpretation of things... take note on this facts.

"Producing its Own Kind" its on the bible and yes its evolution. But producing another kind.. is something but false. You see, we all know that pest become immune to pesticides sooner or later, and yes they evolve... but that evolution have limits. those pests are not immune to sledge hammer....

point sis is this, evolution does happen, bible says its kind, but darwin says its specie-rebranded to validate its claim of the no limit change. You need to have the right ingredient to produce the desired output, you cannot produce a coffee with paper and pen.

Yes in bacteria, there are evolution that takes place... but i hope you see it as reverse-evolution. From what i learnt bacteria evolve by loosing information... not gaining... in order to survive.... or just maybe my knowledge on this area is not sufficient... but nevertheless, it produce the same kind... BACTERIA.

hahaha, its ok brad, scientist on the field says nothing has been found, its just a pieces of the puzzle... we will see what the puzzle will support... if those were real, then it can stand on its own... with or without us. That's what ET believers want to make it all about, because speciation is as simple as altering breeding preferences. But the theory also says adaptive mechanisms created organs, and that CANNOT be demonstrated. You can show common descent over time and that's it. You can't show mutation is random or selection for fitness is the ONLY purpose of designs.

sir in science we don't misinterpret things. only the bible is misinterpreted by our pastors and members. we study, test and verify and make conclusions base on evidence and results. that is very important for any professional in our field. it would be like lying if we tamper evidence or when we hide our conclusions to defend our faith.

sir, when you said you cannot produce coffee with paper, you're oversimplifying the idea. evolution is a long process for changes to take effect. but the best proof of evolution is by observing and understanding the process in genetics.

correction sir, all the assumptions sa evolution are already proven today. i would be lying to my profession if i will dispute them because we can verify the results thru experimentation. all biologists that i have worked with share the idea that from the gene level we share a common ancestor. we have done many repeated experiments in the past and it is no doubt that that common ancestry is true.
