Meh, i don't think it's really that unbelievable. It's all about that hax zanpakutou really. Heck Ichigo's been a Shinigami for what, a couple of months? And he's proven to be of captain level already.

.. yes, coz ichigo is the son of isshin, a captain. i must agree that aizen's hypnotism is effective, coz of course, the power of the mind is indeed that great. But, to him being the leader of this conspiracy ever since the beginning is a mockery, really.
