Last weekend my friends and I here in South Korea went to An-san station to meet friends.
While waiting we meet Indonesian muslim guy. To make the story short, my friend
asked the Indonesian guy if Osama Ben laden is a good leader. The answer is a big "YES"
and he is very proud of what Osama Ben laden is doing.

.. just consider the source people, it's on youtube. And we all know that people post weird and even controversial videos just to get attention and "most viewed" status. I have many friends who are muslim and they are good people. Islam is in fact one of the oldest religion and has doctrines that are primal and very basic. it's just too bad that most terrorist ( terrorist being an overrated word ), use Islam as an excuse and sad to see that most people ( non-islams ) are STUPID to immedietly condemn the faith of Islam.

If you want to know islam then read the Quran and and most especially the Hadith (life of Mohammad).

The Quran in Sura 65:1, 4 says:
65:1 O Prophet, when you [and the believers] divorce women, divorce them for their prescribed waiting—period and count the waiting—period accurately . . .
4 And if you are in doubt about those of your women who have despaired of menstruation,
(you should know that) their waiting period is three months, and THE SAME APPLIES TO THOS WHO HAVE NOT MESTRATED AS YET. As for pregnant women,
their period ends when they have delivered their burden. (Maududi, vol. 5, pp. 599 and 617,

The Quran in Sura 4:34 says:

4:34 . . . If you fear highhandedness from your wives, remind them [of the teaching of God],

If they obey you, you have no right to act against them.

The Quran in Sura 4:24 says:

And forbidden to you are wedded wives of other people except those who have fallen in your hands [as prisoners of war] . . . (Maududi, vol. 1, p. 319).

Apostasy in islam. Muhammad teaches people to kill those who turns their back to islam!

The verses that deal with the case of apostasy from Islam are listed here:

1. They desire that you should disbelieve as they have disbelieved,
so that you might be (all) alike; therefore take not from among them friends
until they fly (their homes) in Allah's way; but if they turn back, then SEIZE them and KILL them
WHEREVER YOU FIND them, and take not from among them a friend or a helper [ Q 4:89]

2. Make ye no excuses: ye have rejected Faith after ye had accepted it.
If We pardon some of you, We will punish others amongst you, for that they are in sin [Q 009.066 ].

Narrated Ikrima:

"Ali burnt some people [hypocrites] and this news reached Ibn 'Abbas, who said, "Had I been in his place I would not have burnt them, as the Prophet said, 'Don't punish (anybody) with Allah's Punishment.' No doubt, I would have killed them, for the Prophet said, 'If somebody (a Muslim) DISCARDS his religion, KILL him.' " [ Sahih Bukhari 4.260]

Volume 9, Book 83, Number 17: Narrated 'Abdullah: Allah's Apostle said, "The blood of a Muslim who confesses that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and that I am His Apostle, cannot be shed except in three cases: In Qisas for murder, a married person who commits illegal sexual intercourse AND the one who REVERTS from Islam (apostate) and leaves the Muslims."

Volume 9, Book 89, Number 271: Narrated Abu Musa: A man embraced Islam and
then REVERTED back to Judaism. Mu'adh bin Jabal came and saw the man with Abu Musa.
Mu'adh asked, "What is wrong with this (man)?" Abu Musa replied, "He EMBRACED Islam and then
REVERTED back to Judaism." Mu'adh said, " I will NOT sit down UNLESS you KILL
him (as it is) the verdict of Allah and His Apostle.

provision for lying in islam

Most Muslims are familiar with the principles of Islam that will justify lying in
situations where they sense the need to do so. Among these are:

War is deception.
The necessities justify the forbidden.
If faced by two evils, choose the lesser of the two.
These principles are derived from passages found in the Quran and the Hadith.

In the Quran, Allah, allegedly, says:

Allah will not call you to account for what is futile in your oaths, but He will call you to account for your deliberate oaths: for expiation, feed ten indigent persons, on a scale of the average for the food of your families; or clothe them; or give a slave his freedom. If that is beyond your means, fast for three days. That is the expiation for the oaths ye have sworn. But keep to your oaths. Thus doth Allah make clear to you His signs, that ye may be grateful." Surah 5:89

"Allah will not call you to account for thoughtlessness (vain) in your oaths, but for the intention in your hearts; and He is Oft-forgiving, Most Forbearing." Surah 2:225

"Any one who, after accepting faith in Allah, utters Unbelief, except under compulsion, his heart remaining firm in Faith - but such as open their breast to Unbelief, on them is Wrath from Allah, and theirs will be a dreadful Penalty." Surah 16: 106

One of Mohammed's daughters, Umm Kalthoum, testified that she had never heard the Apostle of Allah condone lying, except in these three situations:

For reconciliation among people.
In war.
Amongst spouses, to keep peace in the family.
One passage from the Hadith quotes Mohammed as saying: "The sons of Adam are accountable for all lies except those uttered to help bring reconciliation between Muslims."

The Arabic word, "Takeyya", means "to prevent," or guard against. The principle of Al Takeyya conveys the understanding that Muslims are permitted to lie as a preventive measure against anticipated harm to one's self or fellow Muslims. This principle gives Muslims the liberty to lie under circumstances that they perceive as life threatening. They can even deny the faith, if they do not mean it in their hearts. Al-Takeyya is based on the following Quranic verse:

"Let not the believers Take for friends or helpers Unbelievers rather than believers: if any do that, in nothing will there be help from Allah: except by way of precaution (prevention), that ye may Guard yourselves from them (prevent them from harming you.) But Allah cautions you (To remember) Himself; for the final goal is to Allah." Surah 3: 28

According to this verse a Muslim can pretend to befriend infidels (in violation of the teachings of Islam) and display adherence with their unbelief to prevent them from harming him.

And didn't also Christ proclaim, "Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword." Matthew 10:34.

This can be interpreted by extremist Christians as a call to war against others, doesn't it?

Yes, viewing this way, one could be said that Islam and Christianity are the same, both their histories are stained with blood, their foundations built upon the dead bodies of many peoples.
