please don't tell your prospect "even if gamay ra ang mag ice skating" 'coz by then you'd have lost this business deal and probably lost your job in the process. know the right words to say and "even if gamay ra ang mag ice skating" is not one of them. are you selling a product here or telling them not to buy from you?

investors are only interested in those people who would use the rink and not those who would just watch from the sidelines. rink income is generated by the fees charged to those who would use the facility and not to those who are only there to watch. if I only wanted people to gather around, I don't need a skating rink (which needs electricity constantly to maintain it at a certain temp thus adding up expenses every minute) to do that. an entertainment center (like the one they have now) would do the job and with less money spent.

whatever income generated by the rink is for the rink business alone. whatever income generated by the other businesses in the mall it's theres and not added into the rink business' kapish?

so even if I'm not the investor and the money didn't come from my own pocket, I might know somebody who does... so instead of presenting your proposal in a way where both investor and skating public would benefit from the project, here you are, showing your true colors:

"pasag di -i kun negative ang ending sa ila business ang importante mga tawo sa cebu nka try ug ice skating usab"

and by asking you for the data that would be needed by investors, you called me names instead:

"d cguro ka tnoud cebuano noh?"

    "d man ka trully cebuano.!"

on the contrary, I am very proud to be a Cebuano. I don't take nonsense from people like you who gives all Cebuanos in the world a bad name. with all these shady proposal of yours, you're proud of calling yourself "Cebuano". where's the decency and respect?

next time, if you don't have anything good to offer on the table, stop putting Ice Rink Supply's name in a bad light. let them deal with such queries in a professional manner and stop acting like you're helping them. 'coz to tell you frankly, you're not. you're only making matters worse. what if THE PROSPECT INVESTOR actually reads this thread? your friend might get fired because of your actions. think about it.

We got your point.. But you still did not convinced me.
Cause wa ka kaila sa nagtrabaho sa ice skating rink company dre Cebu.

Ako kaila ko and in fact close friend nako ni cya.. And I can assure YOU Ice Rink Supply will not fire her even
if they loose this transaction because they have many transactions. This is just a tiny fraction of their transactions.

She is always reading your replies here. And her boss said you can come by their office anytime you want... It is @ TPE Building Banilad because you don't know anything.

And why would they put kung pila ang paghimu ug maintain ug ICE RINK.. It's for the investors to know and they already know it they don't need this to read this thread to know it..

D man cguro ig ana cla didto oii, na sulti lang ni nako kay ako sa tinoud gusto gyud ko, d nko kahuwat..
They are Doin professinal marketing strategy though, my friend ramiscar told me that they have really
workng this secretly with the MR.Invstr. i should never spread some words what they have working out,
he said, some people might involve and will be miss-interpret..

And hey wonder why are you concern about and worried about? anyway ...
hey jsut think positive to this project, and let the staff do the feasibility study on this on how
    will it stands long..!!

I just wonder how long the novelty will last. If they will do something like what Megamall has done, and in fact, has produced medals in int'l skating events, then maybe it will last longer. Maybe giving skating lessons to kids and hockey teams might just do the trick.

thats one of what they have plan, and so lot more..!!! aside of skating lessons..!!
sports in ice is one also..!! like hokey organizations and figure skating and possible curling too for the old ones.!!
and this ice rink could be easily converted into concert hall, theater, basketball court and etc..!!

We got your point.. But you still did not convinced me.
Cause wa ka kaila sa nagtrabaho sa ice skating rink company dre Cebu.before you forget, it's not MY JOB to convince you. it's the ice rink company's job to convince would-be-investors, NOT MINE. you got it all wrong.

sure, I don't know your friend's name but let's narrow it down, how many women do you think are working in that said company? it's very simple to find someone if you have the right connections in Cebu don't you think?

Ako kaila ko and in fact close friend nako ni cya.. And I can assure YOU Ice Rink Supply will not fire her even
    if they loose this transaction
because they have many transactions. This is just a tiny fraction of their transactions.

ohhh... so I'm talking to somebody who's in-charge of the hiring and firing of Ice Rink Supply? is that what you're implying here? really now?

if you're not involved with that said company, please stop saying "I can assure YOU Ice Rink Supply will not fire her even if they loose this transaction" 'coz having a hand in losing a multi-million transaction in any company is tantamount to not only getting the culprit fired but also his/her superior's. keep that in mind.

I know that Ice Rink Supply (Cebu) has a bunch of transactions not only in the Philippines but in Asia as well. but name me a major one in Cebu, one that has an existing rink as big as the one in SM City (Cebu) before? I bet you can't think of any, 'coz there is none.

just like any other manufacturing/construction company, Ice Rink Supply needs a flagship project in Cebu. one they can call their own, one they can be proud of. think about how important that would be to their image and their business as a whole. marketing and sales won't waste their time talking and explaining their products if they can just drive prospects to let's say: "Ayala Ice Skating Rink" for example. it's easier to sell something when you're standing in front of it. investors don't just wanna see what they're investing on in some expensive brochure, they want to look at it with their very own eyes. see how the whole operation goes, see how it works first-hand. I don't know if you understand where I'm going at..

BUT ask your friend's bosses about that and I'm sure they'll agree with me.

She is always reading your replies here. And her boss said you can come by their office anytime you want... It is @ TPE Building Banilad because you don't know anything.

I don't know anything? with the technical aspect of an ice skating rink, maybe. but like any other businesses, it's still all about the numbers.

by the way, thanks for the invitation, but I'm not in Cebu right now. I do have a relevant question though, area code (61 is located somewhere in Illinois, do they have an office close to New York? I might drop by, one of these days.

And why would they put kung pila ang paghimu ug maintain ug ICE RINK.. It's for the investors to know and they already know it they don't need this to read this thread to know it..

I'm not saying put THE ACTUAL VALUES per se, let them put hypothetical numbers. it's just for computation's sake. just needed capital for a 400sq/m area (permanent indoor facility like SM), monthly overhead costs, ROI, and other pertinent data... please include average monthly sales to break-even, got it? thanks.
