Put yourself in her shoes, kung kamo ang leader sa imuhang barangay unya magpatukod ug mga proyekto ang mayor dinha like kanang sa school building pero wala ni agi sa imu opisina...bisan pagpahibaw nalang as common courtesy, what would you do! The point of the matter is, why would you recognize someone's project who doesn't even have the goddamn courtesy to let you know! Mayg ilogon na ni MAD ang project niya na dili man. Bisan pa iplastar pa na ni tomas iyahang pangalan ug nawong sa tanan projects dinha,dili na mangilog si MAD ana. She gives credit where it is due. Suma, sa mga projects na tie up niya ug ni Del Mar, kanang mag ground breaking ceremony sa mga projects, she tahnks and acknowledges Del Mar's hand on the project. I am a witness to this coz I am there.

if you're father in-law told your wife nga iyang ipa renovate imong balay would you have the guts to tell to the public nga "ang amahan sa akong misis wala juy natabang maski gamay sa among balay" and then pag ask sa imong silingan "ngano ka ingon man ka ana?" ang imong simple nga tubag kay..... "kay wala jud cyay respeto nako" will that justify your claim and the fact that you've said that in public?

Malilong: Letter to Tom (from MDLS)

DEAR TOM,

Regarding that letter that you’re still so mad about, let me state for the record that I did write it. But I strongly deny that I lied when I told my constituents that you did nothing to help Lahug. I simply did not tell the truth. And they’re not one and the same thing.

Don’t blame me. It’s your fault. I did not know that you were responsible for paving the road that leads to Beverly Hills. Now, let me qualify that: I had no official knowledge that you were responsible for paving the road that leads to Beverly Hills.

The trouble with you is that you did things in my backyard without coordinating with me. You forgot that you are only the city mayor. I am the barangay captain. Everything that concerns my barangay should be coursed through me. Otherwise, you can’t claim that I officially know anything about it.

That might be difficult for you to understand so let me explain it in the simplest manner possible. It’s just like a judge who personally knows something about the commission of a crime but can’t convict the accused on the basis of that personal knowledge alone.

You probably do not know this since you haven’t had the chance to study law like I did, but there is a whale of a difference between personal knowledge and judicial notice.

Surely then, I must be entitled to the presumption of good faith when I wrote that letter because for me to judge whether you helped my barangay or not, I have to be equipped not just with personal knowledge but with captain’s notice. I knew about the Beverly Hills and other projects but since you did not inform me about them, I did not officially know what I personally knew. Got it?

And now you have the gall to demand that I apologize for lying? I’d rather be shot instead! The hell I care if you won’t build that school. Go to Talamban. You deserve each other. I can always run to your enemies. And, as you might have realized by now, I can always bank on the natural love of people for children. In your hurry to hit back at me, you forgot that you could hit the children instead.

I offered my hand of friendship to you, Tom. It was easy for me to concede because I knew right from the very beginning that I would not win. You, however, chose to shove my hand away. Sayang. We didn’t have to be friends. All that you needed to do was forget that I existed. You earned the right to do that with your overwhelming victory on May 14.

Now, guess what? I may have lost the battle but I might just win the war.

I know that these are somewhat harsh and over-the-top description of Tomas and I honestly thought that there was only one person who fit the bill. well, well, well... I guess I was wrong.. and then came MDLS..

but she is more than what TO is. she has more negative aspects than what TO already has.. it's scary.

speaking about the now very "infamous letter":

first, she didn't own up to it. then she flip-flopped and for the record, admitted writing it.

second, she admits that she knows about the "projects" that TO have in barangay Lahug BUT tagged them "un-official" 'coz he didn't course those thru her office.

third, granting that TO's projects were not "official", did MDLS wrote on the same letter the fact that TO "did have" projects in her barangay BUT since there were "technicalities" she categorically concluded that "TO has no projects" at all?

karon ang akong pangutana: kay kahibalo man jud si MDLS nga naa diay project si Tomas sa Lahug, nganong nisuwat man siya nga wala jud natabang sa iyang barangay si Tomas? AS IN WALA JUD MASKI USA!! maayo unta kung gi-apil niyag suwat nga "wala man gud ni-agi sa akong opisina" so wala ni labot sa kwentada iyang pag-aspalto sa kadalanan, pagsweldo sa mga drivers, paghimo sa eskwelahan, dili kay mo-ingon siya nga "WALAY MASKI USA KA PROYEKTONG NAHIMO". mao ni makalagot, mao ni punto ni Tomas, mao ni sayop ni MDLS.

sama ra gud sa pulong ni MDLS nga lahi ra ang "lying ug not telling the truth". kung sa iya pang pulong, dako kaayo ang kalahi-an sa duha, unsa may ikasulti niya ani: "wala jud maski usa ka project ug naay project pero wala gi-agi sa akong opisina". unsa man ni, na disqualify ang intention ni Tomas nga kaayohan sa taga Lahug tungod sa "technicalities"?

abi man nako ug "LAHI" ni si MDLS sa ubang mga politiko, wala ra man diay kalainan. pare-pareha ra man diay gihapon.

kung mag eleksyon ug usab, adto ko botar sa kontra ni MDLS. pare-pareha ra man diay sila ni Tomas pero mas maayo pa si Tomas kay mo-apologize pa kung masayop, si MDLS... ingnon lang kag "PIKAT"!!!
