CAMP GENERAL EMILIO AGUINALO, Quezon City – The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) is deemed to receive over P20 Billion for its Modernization Program, said Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) Executive Vice President, Aileen Zosa.
“This project arose out of the disposition of the 34.5-hectare Joint U.S. Military Assistance Group (JUSMAG) area. The JUSMAG area will generate for the Armed Forces of the Philippines more than P20-B over the years,” Zosa said last week in the Turnover Ceremony of 64 condominium units at Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.
The AFP formally received four residential condominium buildings to which a good number of military dependents can enjoy a quality 100-square meter unit of three bedrooms. The five-storey buildings each having 16 condo units can house a total of 64 families of active Army soldiers.
