Ang hisgutan nato mao ang basihanan sa kaluwasan!!! kung sabton jud nimo ug maayo ang question ug i apply nimo sa imong pagka kristohanon (if you are such), that you sincerely accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal saviour, kanay klase sa faith nga makaluwas!!! agree ko ana. mao nay klase sa faith nga gi mean diha sa bibliya! Whether epistles of the Apostle Paul or James. wala jud na mag conflict!

simple kayo sabton na brad kung sabton lang ninyo on the first place THE LORD and SAVIOUR to whom we put our faith upon.

Ang deperensya gud sa duha brad:

GENUINE FAITH - mao ni ang faith of a SAVED person as we read in Ephesians 2:8,9. Kung kita giluwas na sa Ginoo gikan sa bondage of sin, the HS of GOD convicts us nga dili ta magpadayon ug lunang sa sala.

FAITH + WORKS - common faith of the unbelievers.

How about we extend it to the next verse:

8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

    Ephesians 2:8-10 [NIV]
Does that mean, then that good works is a manifestation of genuine faith? If so does that mean that we are saved by faith AND good works?

P.S. At the start of the thread, TS shared it is only through 'faith ONLY' or 'faith AND good works' and there is no other option.

    Question lng:

Person A, a Christian, did good deeds/good works. He committed no sin.

Then Person B, non-Christian, let's say he/she was born into the world without any concept of Christianity or even religion (a mentally-challenged person perhaps or he/she lives in an area where religion is absent) did the same good deeds/works and committed no sin.

Do both go to "heaven"? Or is one better than the other?

    Happy New Year all!

We dont apply it literally as per say an egg but it literally applies to your justification by good works. Good works(good eggs) cant cancell out bad works(rotten eggs). How do you remove the rotten eggs if you dont clean up your dish? How do you clean your dish if you have rotten eggs on it put good eggs?

first of all according to your book it was God who created this imperfect world. why blame us if we aren't perfect? see how contradictory your Christian faith is? An earthly father mo pasaylo man gani sa iyang anak if the son would make amend his wrong doing by a good deed nya imong Ginoo dili? unsa klaseha gud na nga Ginoo.
God created an imperfect world because of free will. Perfect love requires free will. God forgives us because we are imperfect.
You don't understand christianity you are so full of self righteousness that you are blind that true chriustians achieve perfect rightnousness in the eyes of God through faith in Christ.

then start all over again. you know what kalooy ba nimo you are so brainwashed by your pastor to think this way.

well that's how we are created, blame your God not us. himo ka og pusil nga kagar nya imo na hinoon basolon ang nipalit sa imong pusil? ka immature gud ana nga batasan.
We are the image of God you compare a true human being to a disfunctional gun. Thing here is that it doesnt matter if we aren't perfect now but we will be when the time comes. We can be pefect in Christ I say we can because its possible. So why bother being imperfect in the Eyes of GOd when we can achieve it through CHrist?

Good works can bring you to heaven my friend.

let's ask Paul, Faith w/o work is dead. what good is your faith is wa nay good work. A man is justified pina agi sa iyang good work. Even Demons believed(faith) in God but are they saved? hmmmmm.
Obviously you were not watching my previous video regarding good works and faith. You have to go through christ or observe absolute morality rather than relative morality (self righteousness) like Hitler who believes he is right by killing 6m jews, right?

Jesus is your link to the father, in fact w/o Jesus' GOOD WORK(sacrifice) wa moy access sa Ginoo.

see si Jesus man gani mobohat og good work nya kamo pa kaha.
Im not saying were are not to do good works again you are not listening to post # 70. We need good works through faith in Christ. We are saved by faith through christ not by good works lest I should boast.
Try to listen first before saying things that are totally wrong in claiming what I believe.
