i have a tip for you, its called "casual dating". hehe. i dunno if your gf will allow it but it makes it so both of you are free to date other people and explore other opportunities. that way, you dont have to feel so shackled, but at the same time enjoy each others company.
and you are right, barkada and gf dont usually dont go together unless you find someone with mutual interests.
