atleast we are known to have access to most media....TV, radio, internet
we could at least put it to GOOD use for education and useful information

na-ay internet---home or cafes.....pirmi full...for what? games, chatting, ngita foreigners...instead of research or schoolwork

we are not deprived of technology, but simply, most are used for pleasure and luxury

sa ako lang pud ni ha..I prbbly was among the laziest students since elementary till I finished college..wa jud koy tuon tuon and wa jud koy inclination ug basa. mubasa lang kog komiks, celebrity magazines, ug uban pang mga matud pa pangbata nga mga basahon. kung exams..no.1 tingay kos mangopyahay. kung motivation to top academically, wa jud ko ana. wa jud koy lami anang mga grado grado..but. pag abot sa mga discussions nga mo require ug common sense..grabe kau ko. mura kog kinsa. ang mga classmates naku nga manghilak kung ma wrongan ug usa d jud katingog naku...

bag o lang mi nag reunion sa akong mga classmates sa elementary, naa didto ang valedictorian, salutatorian, honorable mentions and sa tanan nga nangadto ddto, I emerged to have the highest position and the most colorful accounts of experiences..and they all have thought even before that I will play a role of some relevant person..its because of exactly their words when they said it "common sense jud nang imoha Choi kay wa baya kay tuon tuon ug basa basa".

akoa lang jud ni ha, but I have so much faith in what and where common sense will bring you. It can be each to his own..dpnde sa pagpaningkamot jud in the real world after school. Reading is one thing.and I believe in it and I know I need it..but for me, the world out there needs action...

very well said,you can read books all you like but the world out there is very different from what you can read from books.books wont teach you common sense and what about gut instinct? thats why i strongly disagree with yienahhs opinion that life is not about common sense. if you think that way you can never go anywhere in this life,you'll get stuck for the rest of your life and thats true. some people think that if you can be a nerd or a booksmart then you can be very good at controlling the world in your hands because you have read too much and you think you know too much but thats not true.

like ive said KNOWLEDGE + COMMON SENSE = WISDOM AND KNOWLEDGE - COMMON SENSE =NONSENSE.

A two-year old child is fully capable of feeling he/she is being loved. It just depend on the parents how to show their love to him/her in a way that he/she can easily perceive it. Like what I've said earlier, one of the way is to put him/her on your lap and read his/her favorite storybook.

So kun mabuhat na sa mga ginikanan, sure gyud nga mo-improve dili lang ang IQ sa bata. Apil pud ang iyang EQ. The child will grow as a very confident person with positive outlook and open mind. Dili attention seeker (KSP), suicidal or sobra ka negatibo.
