yeah those kids are referring to friendship relationship because an GFBF relationship is on its own a type of exclusive friendship relationship. Kids attach meaning to words base on what they learn from adults and not from other kids only....

So when your three or four year old son or daughter tells you he/she wants a certain kid in her class to be her/his bf/gf dont take it as if she wants him/her to be gf/bf in terms adult understand. Because kids do not grasp the idea of that kind of relationship and what it entails except what they can see from adults. They may probably attracted but its probably normal it just part of the development in their sexuality....

I have a three yr old son, i sometime tease him about about this kid his age sad na amo kapitbahay as iya uyab, i dont find anything unhealthy with that. Beacuse even sa iya school when you hear the kids talk they say the wirdest thing like "uyab mi blah..." "mag menyo mi ni blah blah" does the word uyab means the same uyab between adults as between children. or menyo between adults and children....

It is plain inappropriate to be in a BFGF relationship at such a young age. Children should devote their time and money elsewhere.. to their family, study, play etc .
