    programmers rate is not based on language, it is based on experienced and skills... some places have lower rate compared to others... ruby in some part of US has higher rate compare to other state.... same goes with php... the rate of php developer in CA is different from the rate given from NY client... based from my experienced... but normally in range na siya

    yup i agree, its not about the language but its all about the experience..
    an experience software engineer can design a system that can be coded in any languages, also can decide what language to use or applicable..
