More of another Proxy war. It happened before when the U.S and the USSR are influencing wars between countries on back of wither communism or democracy. Now it's China and the U.S that's playing this game of small wars. And again, back then NK was backed by Russia but now it's China and SK is backed by the U.S from the then and now. The two powers won't directly confront each other in the battlefield, they'll just use INDIRECT wars to try to overpower and contain each other.
