Nindot kaau ni nga thread da, kay planu sad ko mu buy ug filter, Pero akong question, akong mga lens kay 18-200mm nikkor, nikkor 50mm 1.8, tamron 25-78mm f2.8.
Unsay man nga lens ang angay butangan ug ND or CPL filter ani?
And if akong e stack ang mga filter, unsa man ang arrangement? lens, uv, cpl or lens, cpl,uv. if ever e stack up nako. thanks daan.

unsa na ND imo gamit? naay ND2, ND4, ND 8 then Nd 400 sa hoya na line. So if ND 2 lang imo gamit then minus 1 stop lang na sya sa imo actual exposure. so basin kulangon gihapon. ang uban gani mo stack sila nd400 (9 stops) plus CPL( minus 2 stops ata).
About sad sa sunset or sunrise. uban mo gamit gihapon ani pro para nako sobra na kataas ang exposure..Lisod timing pro maau sila mo timing :P ako dli kabalo.. ako gamit for sunset or sunrise. GND filters.. ( na tunga ni sya) meaning ang katunga is dark ( minus 1 stop or 2 or 3 stops depende sa rate) ang other half is clear. Thus if mag meter ka sa foreground during sunset. so mo over expose na imo sky, meter the sky then e minus nimu pila ang exposure difference nila. Then gamit GND depende sa exposure difference(-1, -2, or -3). Put the dark half of the GND on top, thus evening out the exposure of the sky and imo foreground.
ND filters na ako gamit is isa ra :P Screw type hoya ND 400
GND nako am using cokin P holder and cokin ND4 and ND 8 ata. planing to add ND2.
Advantage gamay ang cokin (or if china tianya) during sunset or sunrise shoot if paspas mo change ang exposure then maka ilis ka kay i slide man lang nimu ang filter. ang screw medyo ma awahi ka..
pro naa naman sad screw type na multi ND.. :P mura CPL ang movement then kada twist nimu lahi ug ND rate.![]()
ND8 is only 3 stops.. so if inig calculate nimo sa exposure. say 1/1000 (day light @ noon) @ F 8 ISO 200.
If 3 stops lang as you can see kulangon na sya. So if mo down ka to f22 thats pila ka stop from meter exposure nimu na f8, 3 sakto ba?noob pako ani.. so in total.. -6 tanan. so to expose properly naa ka sa 1/30 na shutter @ f22 iso 200.
Gusto ka long exposure during a bright sunny day. ND400.. or B+W 110..
naa link dre sa flickr nag discuss ani.
heres the link with sample pics.
Flickr: Discussing Hoya ND X8 in Long Exposure

So if i butang nimu ang ND8. To properly expose imo man gi kuhaan ug 3 ka stop sa light meaning underexpose na karon imo pics if shoot ka at the same setting @ 1/500, f22 iso 100. So imo buhaton is addan nimu ug 3 stops imo shutter para sakto imo exposure. So 1/160 ata tulo ka click sa imo shutter knob
so dli jed enough para sunny day. :P
ambot lang sakto bana settings ako gi hatag as what ive said nag tuon pa ko ani sad heheheh
@bai tikboy :
naa ba'y baligya B+W 110 or Hoya ND400 nga square filter?
Sa eBay puro raman "screw-in" type akong nakit-an gud.
Mahal2x pod raba, unya kung mag upgrade tag lens (with bigger diameter), di na ni mo-sakar.
