The Vatican has VERY LITTLE money. The entire national budget of the Vatican ius less than that of a German archdiocese. 15B in ASSETS is VERY LITTLE for an international organization with a billion members! Some corporations even have more money, and they don't have to serve a billion members. True the Vatican has preserved quite a bit of art. These are important, but art is a non-performing asset, business-wise.

A lot more than you think. Kindly name me even ONE private organization that gives as much to the poor as the Catholic Church. The Church, in case you don't know, runs more hospitals, orphanages, feeding centers. homes for the poor and marginalized, huiman rights monitors, etc. than ANY other private organization. It cares for over 20% of all AIDS patneits in the world. NO OTHER PRIVATE ORGANIZATION IN THE WORLD gives as much to the poor.

You disagree? Then I challenege to name me a private organization that does more for the poor than the Church.
